Was the diet just the sugar free or the Xtra?

Sugar free as far as I could see, but my store had loads of pallets so Xtra may have been there too. I only definitely saw regular and sugar free though.

Thank you. I'll take a trip to my local
Just bought the Xtra today - store had the three types. Vouchers for £2.50 off £25 spend if you manage to spend that much.
Too bad they reduced the sugar, the after taste is very similar to the diet stuff now. Bring back the sugary bru

I'm not a food fascist in the slightest and firmly believe in each to his own but I had a look at the ingredients on a can of original in Home Bargains yesterday and was amazed to see that it contained over 50 grammes of sugar!!! I was genuinely shocked.
Heat added by the way as it is a good deal and I'm not knocking the OP in the slightest.

Why does it seem to taste better north of Gretna?
I thought £2 for 8 was a good deal at asda but this is hot . Heat added

Hang fire, it'll be dirt cheap everywhere soon, the new taste is awful. Obviously two diet versions wasn't enough.

It's the way the cleaner and fresher air north of Gretna reacts with the gases that promotes such a fruitful taste.

If you want the full 38% sugar version of Irn Bru buy them now before they are gone for ever, currently slowly being fazed out in shop now, i got 4x 8 packs of Irn Bru 38% sugar (Best Before July 2019) from ASDA today most of them on the shelf were 17% Sugar Irn Bru With Aspartame.
The full fat versions I bought at my local FarmFoods, are indeed FULL yummy sugary fat!
Hasnt this been posted already? It is 2 packs of 24 for £9 as they don't make a 48 pack
£10 for 2 x 24 tinnies of Irn Bru for me today :-(

Did the taste test and we all knew which was Original recipe and which was the new lower sugar version
