Good price our second Roomba is getting battered and worn now so on the look out for a replacement. May go for this or a cheaper Chinese knock off that have now flooded the market
And then you have to get your traditional vacuum out to do corners or around large furniture etc...?

Does our carpet and hard floors no problem, however I do take up a thick rug we have other than that no problems.
Maybe a daft question, but would these type of cleaners trigger a PIR alarm system? Really keen to have this to clean the floors whilst I am out
As this brand was name checked on "Breaking Bad" it's hot from me.

The Xiaomi mi robots or roborocks with lidar are much better than ones without mapping abilities like this one and at a similar price.

They can navigate and clean more efficiently.

Maybe but more than twice the price.

The first generation Xiaomi model with lidar is about £180 these days. I got the 2019 model that can do mopping for £227.

The roborock s4/S5 are about £280.

This roomba is only 600pa suction. Whereas the others I've mentioned are 1800pa+

Where did you get it from ?

I got mine from AliExpress but they're on gearbest as well. Some sellers ship from Europe so you don't get customs fees.

Once you use one with laser mapping of its environment, you can't go back to a "dumb"robot that just bounces around.
