This iRobot Scooba floor washing robot is reduced from £280 to £160 at Amazon. It's the little brother of the bigger and much more expensive Scooba 390 which costs almost £500, the difference being it doesn't have a rotating brush, and does a smaller area. That said, it's tiny - about the size of a pile of CD boxes, which means it can fit in much smaller spaces. It is ideal for cleaning bathrooms, because it can get in the small spaces around the toilet and so on that the bigger scooba just can't reach. It does a great job of cleaning the floor, and it's more practical than a mop because it sucks the water up after it leaving you with an (almost) dry floor when it is done.

And to answer the inevitable questions;

1) Blimey, it's not much work to mop by hand - how lazy are you?
Very

2) Isn't it cheaper to do it by hand?
True. Same goes for washing dishes, but I have a dishwasher

3) Doesn't it take just as long to fill it, empty it and rinse it as to mop the floor?
That depends on your floor size. It takes a couple of minutes to do all of that.

4) The reviews say it sucks
I have one, and it does a good job of cleaning the bathroom. It's not going to scrub ingrained dirt off the floor, but it will keep the floor clean if used regularly.

No you mean cold for giving all the nerds a semi and then disappointing them. Coz it really didn't waste much time, did it?

Sounds like a brilliant idea. Has your experience using yours been as bad as the reviews??

It works well for me. It's not as good at scrubbing a really dirty floor as the more expensive ones which have a rotating brush, but it cleans the general toothpaste splatters and dust off the bathroom floor nicely.

awesome!
