what a load of rubbish

what a load of rubbish

I was a sceptic when my girlfriend bought one I admit.

I am convinced now having seen it work. It does a very thorough job and manges to get into all the corners and under kitchen skirts that are hard to do manually. It also copes well with maping our very odd shaped room.

It even copes moving from the hard floor to the welcome mat and does a great job on thecarpet.

It's expensive but worth it.

I have a older model, had it for a couple of years.

Great item, and does a good job.

Imported mine from a US ebayer, much cheaper this way.

Had had to do a take apart twice to clean the sensors tho.

Free I hear you say?

The hidden costs are certainly more than any delivery charge!

My neighbour has got one of these. When they first got it they spent half an hour gorping at it whilst it cleaned the room!

I have a very keen interest in Artificial Intelligence. Thus automated robots fall into this.

iRobot do not make shoddy products, they make quality machines. Its like buying a Volks Wagon Golf VR6 compared to a Fait 126. Obviously you pay the extra but its nearly always worth it. iRobot are always updating and improving their products yearly because they make so many new advances and it gets cheaper.

I don't have one and I am very tempted by this - for me this is hot even as a non-voucher holding costco customer @ £160.99!

What - a wife? The novelty will soon wear off ;-)

I find that most new visitors and many who have been before often love to watch it work. I find myself doing it at times too, I like to try and work out it's logic that it's using when it runs into edges.

Does anyone know where I can get one of these (other than using CostCo voucher/membership) for less than £170 online?

I have an older version and it works brilliantly - not used the upright since. Voted hot as this is cheaper than Makro (£150)
