I've been looking for a good set of screwdriver bits for my impact driver. The ones I've been purchasing, even so called 'toughened and made for the job' sets just strip away after short term use despite correctly selecting the right bit to fit.

These get good reviews and seem a bargain at the current price.

Irwin are a decent brand but the reviews on these are mixed.

Given the choice I’d go for the dewalt set from screwfix same price and near flawless reviews.

Sorry OP just my opinion others will have theirs

I bought a wiha bit set and omg the quality is superb.

Just read through the reviews and it seems the person that rated it poorly received an incorrectly described rather than commenting on quality. But you are right, might aswell go for something with superb reviews!

Probably comes down to brand loyalty tbh.

It was my first purchase with that brand, only purchased it because of the comments I've seen on here.

Always great to hear a good recommendation from someone on the boards which you then really get on with.

Can`t see the point of these bits anyway, would you use any sort of impact driver (manual or air tool) with torx screws???
Or most of the smaller sizes of bits, they would just break immediately,
The larger sizes of phillips and pozidrive and flat bladed are the only useful parts, imo

This larger set is cheaper than the smaller one on amazon so nothing to lose

They are not that sort of impact driver - they are for the ones that look like electric drills but have a hammer rather than a smooth rotary action. All the rage with the trades...

Impact drivers - Just to make life complicated! They have a rotary hammer action rather than in/out like the hammer action for masonary drilling see toolstation.com/sho…026 for example.
