Been this price for quite some time now at Asda Harrogate, first time I've seen some bottles on the shelf:)
Link suggests £25 but definitely £14 instore which the best price what I ever seen...

Not available in Greenhithe and Gravesend

Not in Kendal...

Perhaps they've mixed up the 35cl and 70cl prices?

Reduced from £30, so not mixed up with smaller bottle

I got a bottle at Christmas for £20 so this is a damn good price. Shame I have boycotted Asda

Bloody hell this is a fantastic price. I don't shop at Asda either, if it was online Tesco would refund the difference. Shame

Have some heat, very nice dram.

P.S. Nice to see a whisky deal that doesn't say 'whiskey'.

Cracking deal, some left in Brighton but not at this price, it's £20 still good.

Probably surplus stock from Xmas as they overshadowed it with other deals

Must be A misprint as the 35cl bottle retails for that price

mispriced or red hot

Wow, brilliant price for a decent malt! Heat

10 years old origin only

Same store (ASDA Harrogate) has 1L Smirnoff reduced to £15...they might be doing some store-specific spirit deals.

They have lots of spirits reduced - whiskys, cognacs... lower prices than online
groceries.asda.com/asd…-hp ... but £30 instore

If thats the price but they are never usually on the shelves you should order online and see what subs they give you

You might get lucky and get something better for the same price

Depends where it's from and both are technically correct! From what I've read when Scottish whisky was allegedly of poor quality and a lot of it was being exported to the USA the Irish came up with whiskey to highlight their alleged superior product...hence why it is whiskey as well...misconception is that it is a US spelling...in this case whisky is indeed more correct but both are fine! Also hot for the deal!

I remember the spelling by assuming that fewer letters is cheaper to print ;-) Jura Origin was my first and therefore holds a place in my heart, a lovely light, sweet introduction to single malt. At £14 this is smoking hot, I wonder if they are trying to clear the shelves of an older box style.

Have someone any idea about any discount for 16 years old Jura?

16 olds should not be drinking Jura

Great, think I'll be able to remember this correctly now

Has anyone actually bought this deal?

Checked the shelves in my local Asda Store and there was lots of Isle of Jura Origin bottles but all the 70cl's were £25.

Hot deal if you can get it but I think its likely to be store specific

None in Milton Keynes, but I did notice that they still have Prophecy in the old box, priced at £42 (normally £50), but here's hoping it goes even lower.

I got an extra £1.40 of by saying to them "I was only after 9 year malt ...can you knock 10% off please?"

On the shelf at £25 in Asda Gosforth, scans at £25. Probably store specific

had your lot been as thrifty you might not be in the state you're in

Must be store specific.

Has anyone actually managed to buy any of this yet ?

just bought some and noticed the 16 year was down to £30.

Of course it depends on where its from.

I was referring to the Scottish variety which some have a habit of labelling on deals as 'whiskey'.

they still have some stock left as of the time of this comment
