A penny more than its all-time Amazon low. My favourite of the Jura range.

Same price at Sainsbury's if you prefer - sainsburys.co.uk/sho…0cl

  • Lightly peated with hints of smoke and spice
  • Tastes of tangy cinnamon, ginger spice and honey with whispers of salty sea spray, rich coffee and roasted chestnuts
  • Deep intense mahogany with glittering sun rays
  • Firm and positive, yet forcibly mellow, strong accents of phenolic aromas, rich, sensual nuances of honey and marzipan
  • Perfect for Summer BBQs and Winter walking
  • 2015 Silver Outstanding Medal Winner - International Wine & Spirits Competition
  • IWSC Awards Tasting Note: The floral rose sweetness of Turkish Delight, with the addition of honeycomb and aniseed, makes for a deliciously approachable yet well structured malt.

That's alot of flavour for a whisky, makes me rather superstitious
Very superstitious?

Also, great whisky
I like my whisky. Though seriously where do these pompous tasters get the flavour of ducking sun rays from?

£20 is a good price for this. Thanks.
Nice deal, I'm going to give it a go.

Not sure why when it's a NAS? I can understand Glenlivet 12 etc if stock is low.

Maybe because "Deep intense mahogany with glittering sun rays" is the colour not the taste. Anyway the colour is pointless because Jura add colouring to most if not all of their Whisky so their is nothing to be gained from it.

"The island distillery is replacing its existing range of Scotch whiskies with a completely new line-up that introduces a new flavour direction for the brand.

From April 2018 Jura’s core range of Origin, Superstition, Diurach’s Own 16 Year Old and Prophecy will be removed from sale."

I really like the Origin and 16 year one, to me they taste near identical, just 16 yo a bit more complex.
Cost £24 in SW London
Just bought this from Tesco, reduced to clear, just under £15.

Having tasted through the new range I would have to say it makes a lot more sense for the distillery to be carving out a defined style and character for itself rather than the previous hodgepodge.
