UK mains - 3 pin plug with USB input socket, simply plug in your Hot sync USB to 30 pin and charge. Can also charge any other product via a USB input.

Was £4.99 from play.com back in June - not that that matters as that's just history.

"Can also charge any other product via a USB input." = strictly true as "CAN" is not the same as "WILL". My Motorola Razr phone remains uncharged as presumably there is some extra data signal needed by the phone - in hindsight the phone won't charge just by plugging into a PC USB, it needs the PC to have a suitable driver too!

So my guess would be IF your USB product will charge if it is just connected to a PC's USB port WITHOUT the PC installing a driver, then this SHOULD charge it but it isn't GUARANTEED.

probably a good deal, just got colds cos of CFC!!

Agree with above, these can be hit and miss.. as some will charge the sony mp3, and some wont..yet they nearly all charge the small STONEmp3..must be how much current they pull from the unit ?.. im after one that will charge the new philips SA-2820..mp3
