This deal has been on in the past. I didn't see any comments from people …This deal has been on in the past. I didn't see any comments from people saying it was fake. Do you know it's fake or are you assuming based on the number sold?Yes they have sold loads but that could be over a number of months or years

No one retailer would have over 1200 testers. Maybe if they've bought up stock from many bankrupt businesses but it seems too far fetched to me. Plus testers always have "tester" stickers, I can't believe they've sat and removed these. None of it adds up to me. Fakes are mass produced and these are selling in high quantities. I may be wrong but it all points towards being fakes.
"1249 sold". They have an awful lot of unboxed perfume with the stickers removed. Sounds very fake to me

Okay so The Perfume Shop, a high street limited company, is selling blatant fakes in broad day light?

All because they have sold loads in a unspecified time?

They could be items turned down because of QC, or defective bottles, or unsold stock, or something else....

1200 of a popular scent isn't really a lot at all.
Unboxed fakes I sent mine back the other day Ebay scammers

PS. There are loads of other ones at very good prices as well when using the 20% off code
Heat for not being an amazon prime deal.

It's a lot of testers that haven't ended up in their stores! And if they're knowingly selling items with defects then that shouldn't be hidden. I'm just sceptical and you're very trusting.
Why have you listed stating the next best price is £41.95?

Pretty certain this company is not the same as the retail store. Look at the sellers information closer.

My vote would be fake
Lovely smell this!! I like this one and versace dreamer!

Bought perfume from eBay before and it was definitely a fake, learned my lesson and have only been buying from the high street since.

I don't think this is the perfume shop:
Pioneer Supplies Ltd
Company registration number: 08814514
VAT number: GB 177526674

I'm not saying either way if it is fake or not, it does look suspicious but they have 100% positive feedback on eBay, looks like they run the website perfumeprice and they have good reviews on Trustpilot, they are on Amazon too. Might be imported from a country where it's on sale for less?

There are plenty of feedback comments reporting them as fake plus some withdrawn feedback. Willing to bet it you bought some them reported as fake they'd give an instant refund to avoid negative feedback.

Classic smell. I’ve pulled many a hot chick wearing this even if I’ve smelled like cheese before putting it on.
Bought this from Superdrug for £32 last week.£62 in Boots.

If you're not sure, pay the extra.
Top tip: use 5 sprays to ensure good EDT coverage. One spray on neck behind each ear, one on each wrist and one on pubis. Basically, that’s going to ensure coverage anywhere a nose will go.
Its been secretly reformulated (diluted bad and made extremely weak!) so it is unlikely to be selling well anymore.

This will be reformulated unsold overstock disguised at testers.

That's 6 sprays then?

2 on neck (behind each ear), 1 on left wrist, 1 on right wrist and 1 on pubis. Only use 6 sprays (2 on pubis) if your pubis smells bad and a nose will be near it otherwise you use too much.
lovely stuff, still regret magnanimously giving my last bottle to the missus...

Do not spray directly onto your skin, spray a few times above you and walk through the mist. It stops you smelling like a hooker's handbag and stops people gagging when you are out contaminating their lungs.
Or save yourself a fortune and have a shower

End of line? They haven't changed the box or bottle so why would this one eBay store have 1200 "end of line" items?

Maybe "end of line" wasn't the right term. I meant the when stock stays too long without getting purchased, high street suppliers sell as defects (missing the box is the defect)
They don't sell them to individuals as they buy in singles, but legit eBay sellers buy in bulk and at a lower price so that they resell on ebay. That's the explanation I was given buy my stepdad, who resells a lot of genuine items on eBay. For him to buy in bulk from eg High Street, they cut half of the label when they are selling diagonally, so that part of the label remains on the item. I have a friend with a contract with Costco. Costco sells customer returns to him at a lower price, in bulk and he resells on eBay. He says he prefers companies that buy in bulk for reselling as they don't give him grief. He sells thousands of items a day, and the people that give him grief are the people buying a single steam iron worth £100 for £20, and complain to eBay about the packaging, for example.
I am guessing that they are taken from gift sets. Gift sets are notoriously hard to sell (apart from maybe 2 months of the year) so you can easily sell the unboxed EDT for a knockdown price and then sell the deodorant/body wash to make your profit back.

Maybe Issey Miyake and others dumped a load of these gift sets at knockdown prices ... they certainly ain't fakes because I have had plenty of purchases from them and they have all been spot on.
got the item , does not seems like the original I have at home. will return it
Anyone looked at the bottom of bottle? Mine looks like they have scored something out...guessing maybe to say not for retail sale.
