A funny Channel 4 sit-com, rare these days.

Faaaaaather!

terrible programme, price is good though I suppose.

Voted hot - thought I'd got a good deal when I bought it from Amazon just a month back for £12.32

This is all you need since series 4 was a mess imho. Some good moments but the writing quality did not match series 1-3.

lmao, this was me and a mates catchphrase for about a week after that episode (season 2 episode... three?). We used to yell it everywhere for lols, including Tesco, pubs, etc.

Peep Show, Inbetweeners (OK, originally E4 but later C4). For me, both better than IT crowd.

"What operating system is it?"
"Vista"
"We're going to die!!"

Heat.

Horses for courses - I didn't find the Father line that funny, but absolutely love series 4 - The characters are more fleshed out, and Ayoade is in full swing when it comes to his physical comedy!! I especially love the introduction of Matt Berry as the new Reyholm boss, a fantastic role that really suits him. It made me go back and watch him play Dr. Sanchez in Garth Marenghi.

I'd been pondering this one for quite a while, so this is a welcome offer, cheers.

I downloaded the Dinner Party episode from iTunes and found it little cooky on first watch, but on subsequent re-waches I clicked with it quite nicely, if not laugh out loud funny.

LOL. What age were you, 12?

Good question bboy71, that would make my mind up about buying it.

Agreed,I thought season 4 was garbage but the first 3 weren't that bad.

Well said.

Channel 4's complete waste of a much funnier show in "Curb Your Enthusiasm" makes the fact that The IT Crowd is still in a primetime TV slot hard to take.

Maybe "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "The Inbetweeners" are considered by Channel 4 to be too blokey in terms of humour for the primetime slot in between Big Brother. I don't know?

The thing about Curb your enthusiasm was yes it was funny but it came over far too stilted. I know the style was almost improv but sometimes to the point of expecting a voice off camera to give a prompt.
It infuriated me to the point i couldn't watch it. That bugged me as the content was brilliant. Like a progression of Seinfeld which is brilliant too.

IT crowd and CYE both get my biggest votes. "Now hold it right there sugar ****". Matt Berry is fantastic in his role; and the rest of the cast is familiar and lovable much like the Father Ted cast.

'Oh look. A gun. I wonder if it's loaded...!'

Matt Berry is indeed brilliant in his role, he's just so delectably over-the-top and it cracks me up every time, especially the way he says certain things! "I'm sad to say that the only secure route to a knighthood in this sorry age is via charity waiiiiirrrrk"

Chris O' Dowd and Richard Ayoade play their roles perfectly. The long suffering Roy is easily my favourite character though! I enjoyed Season 4 for the most part, so will hold out for the complete boxset once the show ends. The only 1-3 boxset I'd want would be the special 'Internet in a box' edition.

I have read on the reviews that the 'light' doesn't light up.

"Hells teeth! They're just cars! I'm not aroused! God DAMN these electric sex pants!"

i enjoy all 4 seasons but season 3 dropped in quality to me...roy looked better with long hair too

my favourite bit is when they go to see gay the musical, and roy goes into the disabled toilets so pretends to be disabled and keeps saying "I'm disabled!" in his irish accent...funny

Got it, love it. Thanks again OP.

The homage to Head Over Heals in the DVD menu could well be one of the greatest things ever burnt to DVD... ever.
