I bought it in December 2022 for the same price. It is an excellent product, very powerful.

Before I buy something that I never knew I needed, I have a couple of quick questions:

    1) Won't the dust just go everywhere? Is it any better than using a toothbrush/paintbrush to dislodge the dust and a vacuum cleaner to collect it?

    2) Can this be used on a car to clean out air vents and other hard-to-reach places where dust accumulates?

    1) it’s strong enough force that people recommend using it outside, which is sensible if you don’t just want to recirculate the dust around the room.

    2) good idea, might try that myself

As others (geeks) have said, this is a quality product. Had mine about 5 years, well worth the money. Works just as good as the first day I bought it.

Same, had mine since 2019, use it all the time, fantastic tool! Dusting PC parts and GPUs, blasting the vents on the TVs and monitors, inflating balloons for the kids, dusting speaker grills, camera parts, etc. I use mine all the time! Got it for £30 on a warehouse deal, would happily buy another for £40 if it broke.

I got this the other day at the reduced price. I tried posting it here but HUKD had an issue with the seller stats or something for some stupid reason and denied the post. I got the deal and it's a great product, so bad luck everyone else.

Not wishing to harsh anyone's buzz, but you're describing £40 for a air blower as a good deal?

What does this do that the mini-vacuum cleaners that you can get at Amazon for less than £5 don't do?

It's one of those things you don't understand till you get one. Those cheap ones do NOT compare in the slightest.

FYI. This can be had for as low as 22 on eBay refurbished with warranty and with eBay discount codes. If you can wait.

Would this be any good for cleaning sons computer keyboard or would I be better buying one with the tiny brushes?

It will work very well to blow the dust out. As an added bonus they're really good at blowing inflatables up like paddling pools etc.

This is great quality. We've had one for at least 4 years and it has never let us down. Very powerful too. Got it for about the same price really but still worth it over compressed cans of...air.

If you already had 6 cans of compressed air lying around as I do and a handheld Dyson, is there anything this can do that my stuff can't? May wait until I run out of cans. Don't like the waste cans but I've been using the stuff for so long that I still buy the disposable stuff

Got one of these from eBay a while back for £20, great for cleaning dust out of PC, it is as powerful as people say it is, make sure to use it in short bursts though as it tends to get hot fast!

Some people naive to how a typical air duster/mini vacuum doesn't fair up against this, really blows my mind...

It's a very handy accessory to have if you need to do air dusting and it does the job alot more well than an air duster.

It was this price last I checked direct from their own website, with a few extras chucked in (keyboard dust remover putty stuff for e.g.)

I bought the pro version for a tenner more and yeah, it's great. Amazing how much dust gets stuck in your pc. Cans of air are useless compared to this beast.

Bought this some months ago due to wasting loads on silly canned air things. I've been very happy with it and use it many times. It's of course louder than a jet engine but it works perfectly and has survived several months with no indication it's likely to fail any time soon. I run a home lab, and boy does it get dusty in my garage/home office. Would recommend.

So much quicker with one of these though. Plus you risk static electricity damage with vacuums on PCs.

I have this and it's extremely powerful, I suggest taking your PC outside if it's very dusty as it will go everywhere, my room looked like a sandstorm had torn through it.

If this is really as poweful as people say then why would you use it on electronics? Surely if you put this to blow out dust from a pc case you have a good chance of removing some capacitors from the motherboard or similar?

This is amazing, had it a few months. Was also sceptical about cost before buying it, but it is so powerful, it cleans IT stuff in seconds (and in a safe way), whereas other methods would take you ages and probably not do as good of a job.

I bought one of these back in 2016 for this exact price as I was fed up with overpriced cans that spat liquid over my PC, this is so worth it and I still use it, much better than the cans! Just take your PC outside if you can, tie up your fans (so it doesn't spin them and damage the bearings) and use this for less than a minute (I wouldn't recommend using it too long as it does get hot), and it'll be all clean!
    Hutchyy's avatar

I think this review just about sums it up:

I've tested a few similar products, but I actually forked out for this one.

There is so much marketing around this, letting you think it's superior to other products out there - It isn't.
This does the same as other products that cost a fraction of the amount.
    • All it is, is a powerful air blower, with a few nozzles to disperse where the air comes out.
    • It heats up quickly and begins to overheat quickly, too
    • It doesn't magically lift all the dust
    • It is very power hungry

It works, but do yourself a favour and don't fall into the marketing hype - Cheaper products out there do the same thing.

I have one of these and like others have already stated it's very powerful.

Ofcourse it's a lot bigger and heavier than canned air, which makes it great for PC's but if you're working on handheld consoles or just want to blow out a charge port on a mobile phone, then keeping a can of air within easy reach is also a good idea.
