Thanks for the heads up.

I've got 2 of these and used them several times on both Ryanair and easyjet - not attractive suitcases but great cases!

good one! I got the medium one for about the same price last week still need to be used flying out next week though

Could you measure your case that D31.4cm dimension might be fully extended
It depends if they are having a good day;) or if they want to be very strict they charge you and put case in the hold:(

I've just measured it and it's 20cm deep without the extender - they are incredibly spacious and light with handy pockets for documents etc - I'll update if there are any changes as I'm on Ryanair with it this weekend - but so far so good

This is not a cabin bag. (exceeds dimensions)

looks like they don't exceed, unless extended.

The website says 25cm + 6 cm for expansion. They could be wrong though.

Definitely too big for easyjet though in any event, its too tall...

These spinner types of bag are fine apart from the small projecting wheels which are a significant weak point of failure. Eventually one of the wheels gets bashed off, then what, you have to wobble it through some airport and the whole bag is useless. To my mind a lot safer is the type with recessed skateboard-style wheels which are much harder to damage.

I've never been approached by easyJet about the size of my cabin luggage and I'm an extremely frequent flier. My bag is the same dimensions as this. Their website also says the following:

How many pieces of luggage can I bring in the cabin with me? One, free of charge.

Size: 50 x 40 x 20cm including wheels and handles to be guaranteed to travel in the cabin, otherwise up to 56cm x 45cm x 25cm. If the flight is very busy, passengers with cases larger than 50 x 40 x 20cm may be asked to put their bag in the hold at the gate.

This is free of charge - but means you have to wait at the baggage carousel at the other end.

Therefore worse case scenario is your luggage goes to hold but it'll still be free. Great buy IMO.

Comment 1 is bang on... Actually sort of miss selling really isn't it as it's not suitable for any airline.

Sure, you could try, and probably get away with it, but the one time you don't makes this case a lot more expensive!

Out of stock for delivery and at about 20 random stores that I checked.

Just seen the other day how easy suitcases are to get into, even with locks! They simply push a pen in the zip and it opens up, nevertheless good deal.

I have one of these and used it many times for work, great value case and pretty good quality although the zip bust on my last excursion so I would still recommend a strap as well

Taking the risk for hand luggage as 56 x 40 x 25cm it will only be 5cm out.

Cheers OP

Doesn't matter. No longer in Stock.

Danke!

People keep mentioning the possibility of this being too big for cabin luggage, but I'd also like to point out the weight. I don't know how each airline/country works but they generally state 5 or 6 kg allowance for carry on luggage. I'm going away in August and opted for carry on only, and I have 6kg allowance with Thomas Cook. I don't recall ever having my cabin bag weighed but if the day comes where it does, I'd suffer greatly from having a bag that weighs half of that allowance on its own.

Any input regarding weight limits would be appreciated as it's a slight concern to me at the moment. I'll be a single traveller so I can't put anything in anyone else's bag should I run into problems.

Managed to get one of these in the end and it's very poor quality (like most Argos stuff). The bits that look like metal in the pics are actually chromed plastic. The top of the extending handle is also all plastic and the handle flaps around when extended. Looks cheap and looks the price it's on sale for. I also got the big one at £54.99 from another store. Haven't collected yet, but will just get a refund on both and get something better.

To underline the above, I just saw these in B&M Bargains, lol

Used mine last week on a flight with no issues, great little case.
