Would it go through as a hand baggage with Ryanair?

Would it go through as a hand baggage with Ryanair?

Ryanair is 50x40x20 but I don't think 2cm would have a big difference.
By the way, free delivery for me too. Those that have a delivery charge perhaps you live in N.I or in a certain post code that is usually charged extra, that would explain things.

Correction:
Ryanair is actually 55x40x20 so this will fit no problem, in fact it's actually smaller than what you could carry.

Flybe limit is 55 x 35 x 20cm, this bag is 52 x 34.5 x 21 cm, How strct are the airlines these days - might they say refuse its use because the bag exceeds the 20cm depth?

I always travel cabin baggage only. Most of the airlines only pull over the people who are obviously stronging it. Like for instance easyjet you have to have no extra bag, handbag etc at all. It all has to be in that one bag unless you've paid the extra for premium.
So people with an overlarge bag plus a handbag and more will get pulled. You just have to be seen to be obeying their restriction so if you're all sorted and neat they won't do you for 1cm bigger depth.

Great find op. I love my IT luggage but mines the two wheeler. Can't really justify buying another but I'd snap this up. Voted hot.

Just had a pm asking how I travel with just carryon so thought I'd paste my reply here if it helps anyone who fancies avoiding hold luggage charges, queues and a bad back!

I use carry on luggage for any trip. Have done for years I just came back from 6 weeks away and have been away for as long as 3 months before.

There's a trick to it though. Capsule wardrobe, wear the heavier bulkiest things, coat, sweater, boots etc. Liquids are limited due to the security stuff so I just take small hotel amenities bottles of cream, shampoo etc that fit in your liquids allowance and buy any I need wherever I am. It's still heaps cheaper than paying hold luggage charges and is so much easier not lugging big heavy bags about plus straight to the gate as no luggage check in. Then breeze straight off the plane and out. Wouldn't/couldn't travel any other way! The IT luggage maximises every bit of allowed space and you can get tons in. Just roll things up tightly.
With easyjet I pay the extra tenner for extra legroom seat including speedy boarding and it gives you another sizeable holdall allowance as well. More than enough. I'm a photographer so have to carry my equipment and laptop etc so that all goes in the smaller bag with the bigger one for clothes etc but I've done it even with it all in just the one carry bag. Came back like that this time with the smaller bag empty! There's a load of youtube and travel sites advice on how to travel hand luggage only. Have a look. :-)

The Flybe limit is more to do with the smaller overhead bins on their planes. I've never seen them check case sizes before but I have seen countless times people struggling to fit there normal sized cases in the smaller bins.

As already said further up the thread bagsetc always have good deals and discounts on IT luggage. At the moment you can get this case there for 24.00 and usually if you trawl the discount code sites you can find a free or very low delivery code. Not as brilliant as this deal of course but it's OOS now.
At the moment bagsetc have the 2 wheel version ( which I have) for 29.99 so with the 40% code 18.00.

This was far superior to the one that's on sale at bagsetc, 4 wheels alone make this a fantastic deal, it's a shame I actually fell asleep last night thinking about buying this. Turns out our family actually needed 2 of these which would have made them £18 each because of the extra 10% when buying 2 units.

Why the snirpy comment? This is a deals site. We try to share info and deals. Maybe you haven't grasped that yet as you've only contributed 7 deals in 5 years!

It did when I posted but it's changed now. Only 20% off with PROMO20. They often have codes going though. I think I bought my last bag from them at half price with 50% off. Like most good deals on HUKD you have to act fast!
