Do not buy these, they are soo flimsy. I bought two for a trip to Barbados last year and one got ripped on the way there and the other on the way back. I now have suitcases with duck tape all over them!

I bet the stuff inside of them won't make it in one piece on the other side lol :P

Also the lining leaves Black marks all over your clothes! so be very careful!

All you need is a heaven-handed baggage guy and then ....

Rubbish suitcases and inflated price for cheap tat.

Buy a samsonite hard case it will last a lifetime.

I agree; mine broke after using it about 2 times, and I had only had it in my car boot, it hadn't even been through airport luggage! Took mine back to Matalan (NB: I believe they all come with a 10 year guarantee!) and they managed to swap it for a hardshell one - made me pay the difference cos I didn't have a receipt, but at least now I have a semi decent suitcase!

Well I absolutely love these suitcases - they're a godsend for travelling on the budget airlines as the cabin bag holds so much - the larger suitcases have also been battered about but are still functioning very well - I'm pretty sure they have a 10 year guarantee anyway so if they get damaged they will just replace it.
They're not attractive suitcases however !

I bought the smallest 1 which is also very light and use it on the plane when there is a 10kg limit. it is flimsy but its me that stowing it away. I wouldn't buy the big one, the material is flimsy and the way the baggage handlers throw the bags around wouldn't last 2 mins.

No sure this is a deal either as it was this price last year and tends to stay this price all year.

Read the small print on the guarantee. It only covers very general wear and tear.it will not cover costs for baggage handles whom they blame for 99.99% off damages.

The suitcase is OK but the price is far for being a good deal, bought it for £25 last year, usually around £30.

...your clothes arrive unharmed at the destination before the plane lands and they are blessed?

used these quite a few times and still going strong. I got them for £6 from Tesco, don't think I would pay £35 for them.

The only thing that will be light after buying this is my pocket!

The Matalan suitcases (which are also billed as the lightest in the world...) are really good if anyone is actually looking for some half decent light ones.

They've done me over 15 trips so far, inc several long haul over the past 2-3 years.

also got one in Tesco promotion, one trip to New York and a corner plastic edging strip was missing at the other end, won't be bothering with this brand again.

I bought one of these much cheaper from fleabay, stuffed it stupidly full to almost splitting but it survived to nepal and back, would buy again but not at this price
