The Dell 11z for £240 is a reasonable deal:

What's closing down? Their warehouse to move to a new one or the whole company? If its the company their prices are nowhere keen enough considering you don't get a direct guarantee with the products.

Was sent this email this morning:

As an existing customer, we would like to bring to your attention the closing down of IT247.com on the 31st March 2011.

Our parent company, SCC has decided to focus on its commercial and public sector business. However don't worry from a customer service point of view we will be still around and can be contacted on 0845 8699 211 or emailed at customerservices@it247.com .

Importantly , this does mean that there are some fantastic bargains to be had in our closing down sale. Many items are at cost or less so don't miss out as everything must go!

May we take this opportunity to thank you for your business and wish you all the best in the future.

Yours Sincerely,

Doesn't seem to be a good sale - seems to be usual prices

Yeah, warranties may be an issues ... which is a shame since my daughter's Lenovo laptop she got for christmas has an issue with the trackpad...damn!

They don't appear to be doing any favours, price wise.
Just looked at a Panny TV they have "reduced" in their clearance. It's still £150 more than on Amazon

It is the closure of their retail arm, they will now only be suppling to government and educational users. I don't expect they will be in business much longer. They could not survive in retail, what makes them think things will be any better servicing the government or education?

Have to agree - the price cuts aren't that spectacular.

I've dealt with IT247 before and had no problems - shame to see them closing.

Because the goverment pays £30 a lightbulb this company should be right up their alley

£100 off the launch price perhaps (even that is questionable)..
Ebuyer are currently selling the same card for £98.99 (non sale price)

I have bought the odd deal from IT247 before. Agreed, a shame to see them go. I can't spot anything spectacular in their sale though.

Was thinking of using them this week and I am glad I didn't now.

Giving 'em away.......................NOT!!!!!!!

What a load of nonsense, don't even bother spending 2 mins looking as the prices are rediculous for a closing sale.
