These aren't much use. They leave smear marks over an LCD screen which are pretty obvious.

Fine, they have done their job on my laptop & LCD tv. Never had any problems. :?

I use these ones. Got them from either Lidl or aldi. Never had any problems with streaking from them. Quite surprised with you getting streaks as they are alcohol based, so I would have thought the liquid would evaporate than streak.

HOT from me, because I think I paid about £4 for my tub.

dry out really quick, so it can take quite a few wipes to fully wipe down a screen, even then it has difficulty in dealing with greasy stains, bit of a waste IMO.

They're OK for small screens - mobile phones, audio players, sat-navs, smaller netbooks. Worth a pound.

Anyone trying to clean anything bigger is a bit dumb.

If anyone needs 250 screen wipes...... then I've an idea what type of website you are visiting !

I also got some of these from Lidl a while ago (~£2.50 IIRC), they are very moist, but when you tear the sheets, the perforations leave stray fibers that get stuck to your monitor.
You have to fold the sheet so you are not using the edges.

House mate got these and they were no use, had all dried out.

I've not voted, past experience with these is they dry out quickly and dont do as good a job as say 2 X microfibre cloths one with just warm water (rung out!) and the other to dry. No scratches or chemicals and the end result is a clean screen. :whistling:

Micro Fiber cloth things and water is all you need for these things.

Cold here.

I don't use these wipes.

I use a microfibre cloth, dab some water on it and add a drop or two of washing up liquid and clean my laptop screen. Fantastic result everytime.

I bought the screeen wipes from signalex, at first tthey were ok now they are just absolute rubbish. dired out stupidly fast, now the tissues feel like they are paper. and yeah they do leave marks, now i regret buying so much. never get screen wipes from poundland.

work fine for me heat added

I think I bought these in Aldi for about £3? Anyway they worked well on my laptop screen

I find babywipes are perfect for laptop and tv screens.....quick wipe all over without squeezing the wipe too hard, then some kitchen towel to prevent any smears.

Worked great on my lcd monitor, laptop, phones, mp3 player and TV. Great value for £1 no smears. Would buy these again as i have purchased other makes at over 3x the price that have been rubbish.

dont bother with these, but the pack of three micro fibre cloths instead, also in poundland, a bit of water and they do a great job in seconds, no smears at all

I bought a tub of the other week and I wasn't impressed, they smell just like window cleaner, but you'd probably have more luck using window cleaner... They are only any use for small screens such as those on phones or ipods, for anything larger they leave visible streaks and fibres behind. The best use I've found for these is cleaning the mini whiteboard I got from poundland.
