This TV was reduced a while back and sold out pretty quick. Jord back up to £399.99

Last night I was phoning my local store and they had one left, but I had to ring back this morning. Woke up and the price has dropped online again. Just got order confirmation.

Seems a great TV for the price.

i got one and i'm very pleased with it. i know there are plenty of picture perfectionists out there who complain about "bleed" and stuff like that, but for the price, it really is a steel. the 3D is fantastic - watched "amazing spiderman" in 3D a few weeks back and it looked great - and i'm not really that much of a lover of 3D as it is.

it even made me invest in a new 3D-capable blu-ray player so i'm pretty much as future proof as i'm ever going to be. heat from me

i really couldn't give a stuff that it doesn't have freeview HD - sure, it would be the icing on the cake, obviously, but everything else more than makes up for that for me
I don't think I was being a perfectionist when I was complaining about bleed.

simply responding to your comment that you are future proofed when its old technology already

The Celsius is only £159 in Sainsbury it's not 3d but has freeview, great reviews too.
For those who don't know blaupunkt (blue spot) is a brand name of Robert Bosch.

I'm fully aware of the state of technology in that respect, but for my own personal circumstances and financial situation, i am future proofed because they only way i'll ever see me buying another television is if this one dies. and if that happens, it'll be highly unlikely i'll even be able to afford one that comes close to this spec.

if there's a fault in the television that causes "bleed" then it's obviously a valid thing to bring up but, for me, the sort of people who would complain about imperfections in a television like this, for this price, would likely be the sort of people who would complain that a £50 quid android tablet isn't as a good as an iPad ..
i got one when they were first reduced for kids bedroom and i cannot find a fault with it great picture freeview and 3d also a brilliant gaming tv full marks all the way from me
Blue spot is JUST a brand name now and Blaupunkt is just a LABEL stuck on in some tin pot eastern european 2 bob tv assembly line.

Since brand names started to have multi-model, multi-price catalogues, almost all are just labels stuck on a bought-in product. Those who don't buy-in are priced out of the mass market.
It really depends on your trust in that brand to be selling a quality product, regardless of its origin.
Managed to squeeze an order in for a Christmas present, wooooo
