Try not to abuse the offer, this uses peer-to-peer lending bypassing the banksters which helps normal people like us working class folk. A better offer available for this card is the MSE one which gives you £25 promo credit and 6 months 0% swaps but you have to load £500+.

If you want to make some free money, abuse the normal banksters like M&S which is giving £75 for account switches at the minute.

New customers only
So put on £50, get £65? Can you do this with a PAYG sim?
Just had a quick look, seems to be a 2% fee on transactions but a free card. Cheaper to use revolut if you already have it, but if not this is cheaper for the first few grand due to the card cost with revolut. The 30% topup bonus kinda makes this a no brainer as a back up card though.
Best way to withdraw the cash afterwards?
"Any remaining funds can be withdrawn at an ATM (if less than £200 there will be an ATM charge); or customer can use the card as a debit card in the UK until all funds have been used"

Am I reading this right? Is this literally free money?

Appears to be a £1.50 fee per ATM transaction, unsure about transfers.
Actually it's a free tenner even without wuntu:

1) yes but I'd use a *debit* card or bank transfer works too.

2) yes you can leave and spend money in UK like normal (acts as a pre-paid card). If going abroad, convert it before you go overseas as it works out cheaper for you. otherwise they charge 2% to convert if you haven't done it before hand yourself.

If you withdraw cash from ATM whether in UK or abroad it need to be >£200 or there is a small charge.

Not sure how it appears, may appear as cash advance Is I'd Not like to risk it.

AS much as when they give you cash to open new account in a bank
So, can I just load £50 onto this card then spend £65 at Sainsbury's (less a 2% fee)??

£13.70 free cash? Or have I misunderstood?

You should be able to see the £15 to the balance after you have loaded the money. If it doesn't show, email WeSwap and mentioned the promotion, they will add them in the account manually.
just tried to use my card online to pay my council tax & payment keeps failing

so so much for being able to use this card like a normal prepaid card in the UK

edit : managed to pay my water bill online instead so better than nothing although water bill wasnt due yet
