Travel to the store to be hassled by salespeople, forced to lie on mattresses you have no intention of buying, fill out some tedious survey and then have to return to that same store with I.D to collect the pillow that you may not actually like.

It better be the best pillow ever made.

Funny. Some people will do anything for a freebie, the rest of us have a life to lead.
I went to the store today and the salesperson had a very bad tempur when I said it was a bit forward trying to get me on the bed

got one a few years ago, they are excellent, getting one was easy to do and a couple of emails after which you can opt out of.
Anyone actually found a store participating? 43 results near me, none showing an “icon” they’re involved in the challenge. Interested in nearest John Lewis in Basingstoke.

I got one a couple of years ago for my toddler. Perfect size, he still uses it 2 years later and he loves it.

My point exactly, bit much for a pillow "worth £50"!
And then get bombarded by emails till the cows come home. No thanks

I have had mine for 3 years, never get emails from them. I use an email just for these offers. Each to their own, if you dont want a £50 travel pillow then thats fine.

First of all is a pillow worth 50 quid. Assume it is then no half a day wasted for me is worth more than 50 quid
There's a store about 500m from my home. May get one for my better half. Thanks OP. Heat.

Or goto John Lewis, most likely just be handed the leaflet (or 2 in my case), fill in the form online and get a pillow deliver to your door within 14 days, yes it really is hard work
Awesome got one 1 mile away or i wouldn’t have bothered thanks OP

Are you eligible to do this if you took part in the 2017 challenge?
Edited by: "kkcc" 21st Feb
What is the best day to go for this? would end of week/weekend be ok or better to go midweek say Wednesday?

Or do you have to go Monday Tuesday to avoid missing out?

As they mention

"Please note due to the popularity of the promotion, the end date may be subject to change if the product is sold out, so make sure you enter early on."
I done one of these a few year's ago, and got it too, nice pillow. :-)

The pillow value at the time though was a whopping £65! (and not the £50 value's that's currently floating about ... )

I'm not sure if anyone is aware, but, these TEMPUR stuff's are not your average run of the mill thing's?.

They use Space Age NASA inspired foam technology, and, blah blah blah ...

They're on par with memory foam technology - but supposedly better, etc? (allegedly better, that is?, lol).

Such things (even normal/bog standard memory foam), your not likely to find/get out there in.the street for a pricely sum of only £5/£10 are you? (even at the best of times, etc?).

So expect there to be some sort of/some form of cost involved ...

Whether you are to now believe that that 'cost' is worth their £50/£65 mentioned price or whatever? (is up to you?), is an entirely different argument entirely?). :-)

That's my 2 Cents worth anyway, lol.

Their rules state one per household ...

So I'd reckon nope! (sadly). :-(

Nothing stopping you bouncing one off to a 'neighbours' house too though?, lol.

Mine was an online thing, that in turn then needed to be posted out to me, etc ...

Other's on here from before, rather reported that theirs was rather a case of they did/done theirs, then got theirs then and there (in person!) from the Store in question, before they then left that very same Store that day!.

I wasn't so fortunate in that regard, the various Stores I went to were alllllll about giving me some flimsy coupon/voucher, to which I in turn was then expected to go online with it, do a separate TEMPUR challenge with it (yet again!), and then, and only then, I received my pillow ... looooool.

So everyone's method of acquiring' the pillow was 'clearly different?.

Only those that were able to be able to physically get their pillow from their chosen Store before they left the Store in question are the one's that are most likely to be the one's that could (in theory?) 'do again'?.

There are obviously 'workarounds' to that? (as with such things like this, etc?), but that of course comes down to if you're prepared to do such in the first place, etc ...

And there's my 2 Cents on that matter again, lol.
Went to my local bensons for beds today, the salesman just gave me & my partner a leaflet with a unique web address on.
Our local John Lewis no longer sell Tempur mattresses (York in case anyone wondered) so looks like I'll have to go elsewhere to get one this time.
The code on the leaflet is unique and has to be picked up in store as well too
Just been into my local store.
I had to try 4 different mattresses & tell them which one I liked best. I was then given a form with the URL for claiming the pillow - the web page asks for your name, address, phone number, & which mattress you preferred. When you submit the details it gives you a date for you to go back to the store to collect the pillow.
I was told that I had to bring photo ID & proof of address when I collect the pillow as they need to check that I haven't claimed a free pillow in the last 10 years.
20 minutes' work for a free travel pillow. As I do a lot of camping I'm happy
Just got mine today too
Which stores are you all going to?
I did this about 3/4 years ago & I take the travel pillow away with me every time... it's great on the plane for extra comfort & even though small I also use it at my hotel... it's great if you normally sleep on memory foam :-) I might do this again as now living at new address & can use a different email.....

I got one in 2017 and did the challenge again on Monday. Got the pillow straight away as it was at a Tempur store The salesman also gave me a canvas Tempur branded bag to carry the pillow with a brochure and a quote. A nice bit of relaxation in the demo room.

I think it probably means one per household for the offer period. Otherwise they'd have families going and claiming several pillows at the same time.

The temperature sensitive quilt is interesting. Warm one side and cool on the other. I was handed a sample of the material to hold. Rather shocked at the price though. £600 for a kingsize quilt.

If it is not too much of an effort to get to a store, worth giving it a go, if you would like another travel pillow. They make good little cushions as well as using as a travel pillow

What was the format of the unique URL (without posting yours), there is a high chance we can just make a URL if we know the format.

challenge.tempur.com/uk2…18/<code goes here>

The code was a 10 characters long, and a mix of upper-case letters & numbers. They're 'one time use' (I've tried ). From the quick glance I had of the codes on a few of the other leaflets in the store there's no discernible pattern to the letters & codes, so if you have a spare few hours to sit in front of a keyboard....
Thank you, might go see if I can do this tomorrow
The store locator asks you to enter your post code or surburb. I used my post code, cos I've no idea what a surburb is

What new mattress? This post if for a pillow. You sad individual.
So went to my local store. Asked if they did the temper challenge. The sales lady said yes but looked me up and down said “you do know they are expensive right” then gave me a brochure and sent me away. So rude and unprofessional
