Sim which comes out top for medium users. If you're new to iD Mobile or soon to be out of contract with it, this cheap deal could be for you given that for the vast majority 3GB is sufficient.

For £8/mth you get 1,000 minutes, 5,000 texts and 3GB of 4G data. You can choose a one-month 'ShockProof' contract, meaning you can limit your bill to no more than £5 over the tariff price. Alternatively go for a one-month 'Go-To' plan meaning you can roll your unused data over into the next month.

Who can get it?
Need-to-knows
One-month contract.
Runs off the Three network.
If you exceed your allowance, it's 10.24p/MB for data, 40p/min for calls to UK mobiles or landlines and 14p per text.
Tethering isn't allowed with this network.
You'll be credit-checked – see our Credit Scores guide.

Not a bad deal but iD is crap on customer service. Plusnet also available at this price but does not rollover! Check which network is better for you roams on the three network

Can't get the link to work on there. But its definitely back up.
I'm guessing you can't make any use of the calls/texts/data while abroad?

Only if this is a takeaway plan
It's a shame they have terrible customer service because for the most part the 3 network isn't too bad (not great in my house but fine everywhere else), "upgrading" from a contract phone that is about to expire and they can't even respond or match these deals. I basically have to just let my contract run out in a month and cancel only to "join" again from what I can tell.

Presumably you give notice of cancellation (request PAC?) immediately before the start of the final cyclic period, so at end of month 11 for a 12month contract. Unlikely an existing customer will be offered a decent retention deal when the service provider knows the customer will re-join. Tell them you will be moving to (alternative provider's name)'s better offer of (superb deal) and it might be different.
Steer clear of ID, they are abysmal. 2 weeks ago my wife found herself at the end of her O2 contract with her Samsung S6. She decided to go Sim only for a few months to let the S8 prices drop a little. She takes out a monthly renewal plan with ID and gives them her PAC code. She gets started with them and 3 hours later, an unprompted "we're sorry you're leaving us" message comes through and she's bumped down to PAYG service and doesn't have her number any more. ID rep says (after being in a phone queue for 35 mins) that it is a mistake on their part that will take 5 days to put right. Missus asks for a new PAC code so she can leave and they say it will take 4 to 6 days to come through. They send her around the doors on the phone and she gets nowhere with them after an hour of being on the phone. Goes to CPW next day (where she got the ID Sim) and they tell her she should get a PAC instantly and they've been fobbing her off. CPW ring up and get same timescales. He tells them that they're having him on and 2 mins later he has a PAC code off them. Complete cowboys. She then got an excellent new S8 contract with EE.

Lol looks like people do not like iD at all! Not a bad deal though maybe the plusnet one is better!
Never had a problem with id was paying 12.50 for 600 mins , 5000 text & 6 gb but left last week as three offered me 600 mins unlimited text and 12 gb hot spot for £13 so was better to me.
though I did once loose my phone and had to pay £5 for another sim.
using my S5 now.

Hi Blaze, have you checked your upgrade options on our app or spoken with the upgrades team? We will be able to help you find a deal if it is available on our site.

Hi furlan, unfortunately most mobile networks have similar ratings on Trustpilot.

Have you encountered any issue with us directly, let us know if you need any help by contacting us on social media if that's convenient for you.

The upgrade page doesn't offer the same deals, just more expensive ones. For example, you currently have a sim offer for £5pm which offers 1.5GB of data, the upgrade alternative is 1GB of data for the same price. The same applies to most of the deals on the sim only upgrade path, the offers on your normal non-upgrade website are better for sim only changes. The likes of this offer also isn't available (which I guess is more understandable).

I appreciate getting an answer by phoning you is probably better but I've attempted to contact you via your website but never got any sort of reply, what's the point in providing that option if no-one is monitoring your emails?

At the moment I use giffgaff for my work phone and iD for my personal phone (into the final month of my 24m contract which I now want to switch to a 30 day rolling one instead), pretty much everything giffgaff related can be done via their website or app, iD requires me to call to get the same offers others get or if I decide I'm not needing to use my sim for a month I have to call to cancel first.

Same happened with me (and a lot of customers as well):

" I have been billed a bill of 75 pounds for going just going over my cap by a few MBs and a few minutes. they promised that I wouldn't be able to go over.
Awful reap off company don't dare sign up. complete crooks. I am trying to find a way of terminating my contract. ... I should be dedicating my time to vlog and deter people from signing up to this vile company. the reason we sign up to cheap contracts is not to be ripped off by vile company's like these. where am I meant to get 75 pounds without offsetting my other monthly bills. I am so angry. "

Ridiculous company's behaviour !!! AVOID AT ALL

Hi furlan, we provide our app that allows any customer to view their allowances to avoid exceeding them and prevent any unwanted charges. Our ShockProof plans do have caps to limit additional charges.
Does anyone know if after the 15th June you will be able to use the 30 day sim only contracts in Europe at no extra cost.
