I never said it did, just that the vast majority of buyers were more than pleased.

£286 is not exactly a premium TV price.

It's features and price do make it look very good value for money. I'm sure if you spend more you can get something better. However buying something blind without seeing it will be a bit of a gamble.

The picture would have to be horrendus for me to be dissapointed with this. Hot!

You will need a soundbar or other sound solution. The speakers on this set are awful.

Just got to echo the comments above really, for under £300 a 50 inch 1080p tv would have to be awful to not offer value for money. Heat added

Superb TV for the money - got one last time and couldn't be happier with it.

this isn't the one put on a few week bk it was a Panasonic viera I managed to get1! this TV you have put on isn't even in the sale its the normal price

Absolute garbage but fine if you're not at all fussy - you only get what you pay for after all.

Whatever happened to the old saying "if it seems too good to be true".

Can it be wall mounted ?

Sadly, out of stock now

We wish! AD TCB eligibility only applies to certain categories; sadly does not inc TVs.

No, i'd say more Dacia

Bought it last time, best purchase ever, you wont believe the quality of this tv! plus connect a hdd to the usb port and the built in player will play anything you throw at it! excellent value for money!

so how did i miss this? and you guys didn't?

Bought one

Also bought a new sound bar for it

I bought one last time. fantastic for the money. yes the sound is crap (most lcd tvs are) but it has a digital output so its easy to upgrade to s decent sound setup. Who wants watch a big screen with two micro watt speakers anyway! ?

Unbeatable for the cost, usb ports handy for portable hd, and yeah it can be wall mounted.

Looks like its gone...

I bought one last time, really good value. I work at an ASDA too, the smart version made an appearance the other day - scanning at £499. We only got one, and it's probably still there if anyone would prefer it (Killingbeck store).

Damn missed it again.

Such a shame that I missed this. I was waiting for an email from ASDA for when it was back in stock, but it never arrived.

No good if you want to connect a Sonos bar etc. as this doesn't have optical out like it claims. I complained and returned mine and they still keep advertising it as having this feature. Very misleading.

LOL, I was soo tempted by this that I had to go out in the rain and not come back until they were out of stock. Such a bargain - shame that I don't need one!

Lol tried to cancel mine asda have trouble cancelling

How come it have 1 x network ( RJ-45 ) and no SMART capabilities. If someone is able to explain, thanks.

I think someone found out last time that it is because the same board is used for the SMART version of this TV. However, on this model they have disabled it in the firmware. So the physical port is there, but is useless. And no - the firmware can't be flashed to make the SMART functions work.

LAN port is not useless at all - it enables reception of certain Freeview channels streamed over the internet:

But this isn't a Smart TV. Are you sure the firmware supports that streaming? Have you tested it on this TV?
