It's Back! Sky 75% off for returning customers + £50 credit

I don't really think much of Sky's hold on the market, But thought I would post this for anyone who wants to re-join Sky. I received a letter through the post offering 75% off the complete movie/sports/entertainment package for 12 months which came to £23.50. Sky will also add £50 to your account so in effect give you the first two months free. You are not committed to the full year, you can cancel at any time. I got the agent to confirm this for me.

The offer phone number is 08442 411 346 / 08442 410 648

( I used say no to 0870 to get a landline number, but struggled a bit to get to the right place for the deal)

I know this is going to get slated by sky haters, but if you are really missing your sky its an offer that will take some beating (plus its the only place for F1 this year)
Good Luck

This works out at just over £19 a month as the £50 credit is split over 12 payments reducing each monthly payment by around £4

I left Sky tv package 2 years ago (still got the phone/internet package) strange they never offer me any deals to come back.
If only they wouldn't make it so difficult for existing customers to get this. Hot deal though.
I received a flyer this morning offering half price for 12 months, might try to blag the 75% off now though
Cheers
0844 numbers are chargeable. Only 01,02,,03 0870 are free eve, w/ends

think u find its not free
Sky will always offer discounts if you phone and go direct to cancellations, i've never paid the full price
If you have your phone and calls with them then 0844 numbers are free at the weekends and free between 7pm and 7am ,if you have the £5 call package then they are free all the time .

Sky don't really have a hold on you, unless you are addicted to football or a couple of US made series. There is plenty to watch on Freesat, and in high definition too. I stopped paying for Sky long ago, when they first introduced commercials. The early days were fun, with live cricket from Jamaica in the middle of the night, and one subscription charge for everything. I wouldn't give them a penny now.
just be careful for those taking this offer and think its contract free it isnt read the terms.....75% off Sky TV for 12 Months and £50 credit to your Sky account when you come back to Sky TV (from £5 per month) with the HD Pack (£10.25pm) and Movies Pack (includes Sky Movies Pack 1 and 2) £4 extra a month or Sports Pack (includes Sky Sports 1 and 2) £5 extra a month. You will pay the full price for your new Sky+HD after your 12 month offer ends (from £46.25 with Movies or £50.25 with Sports per month). Please note you need to give us 31 days' notice to change your package. This offer does not include stand-alone Premium Channels, Sky Box Office, pay-per-view services, Multiroom or the HD Pack. Sky+HD box and working minidish required or additional charges may apply. Sky Sports F1: Sky Sports F1 is a part-time channel. General: Offer end date 29 March 2012. Offer only available to recipients of this email who are former Sky TV residential customers in the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. Conditions of your previous Sky TV subscription contract will apply. All products have 12 month minimum subscriptions.
is there a code you need to give to sky?
the offer for the phone number above as expired The offer phone number is 08442 411 346
To those who actually received the 75% off code in the post, how long have you been away from Sky?

I'm on the 12 months half price with 4 months left. I was going to take out multiroom but that would have tied me into 12 months contract with only the first 4 being half price.

Nope, but apparently they check to make sure you received the letter.
I received a offer through post today for half price (50% off). I think 75% off is much affordable, and after 12 months, cancel it.
Hi,
Can someone please confirm if you have to take Sky HD Pack to avail this 75% offer? I don't need it at all. I would just like the Entertainment Pack (full price is 20GBP/month) and nothing else (maybe Broadband and TV for 12.25GBP/month or the all in pay line rental upfront price of 99GBP - is it?).
Thanks.
I left sky in october, never received this offer last time, so hopefully might get it this time..
Offered me the whole thing free to go back..... NO thanks! Would like to watch programmes, NOT adverts!

why would they offer you everything free??
Phoned them today and the offer is not showing on my account. Apparently they check your account and are able to see which marketing promos you have received. I was showing as having 50% off for 6 months though but told them that wasn't good enough. The guy I spoke to said it was a lottery if you received it which I don't think is very fair but he blamed websites where people post these details for them keeping a record...I wonder what websites he means :-S I am going to try again in the middle of the week and see if any offers have been updated on their system.
It's not the only place for F1 this year!! I was really worried what the BBC coverage highlights would be but am very pleased that the so called highlights have been the entire race - just without the hour long pre-amble and post race interviews! So I really don't see the need to get sky for the F1
I recieved the flyer in the post on Friday. 75% off SKY World HD for 12 months. Plus i was offered a £50.00 Credit. I left Sky in August 2011. I called them on Friday and was told that as long as i still had my Sky equipment all would be fine.

They did ask me how i knew about the offer and after a few simple checks i was offered the package which i accepted.

Is this a genuine offer or should i cancel.

Any help would be much appreciated.

No they are not, it is only free calls to Sky's own 0844 numbers, all other 0844 NON sky numbers are chargeable.
Received the flyer this morning offering me 75% off, anyone know if they will supply a new box?
Netflix subscription and access to the UKs and USs library beat Sky hands down in content and price.

I got this offer a month ago when it was offered. I've been repeatedly assured the 12 months minimum does not apply to this as you are not getting new equipment.
Thanks!! Will give this a shot later!!

If they've confirmed it for you then OBVIOUSLY it's genuine. They can't say one thing over the phone and give you another...
same - was told I can cancel anytime, just give them 30 days notice

what live sport games do you get on netflix??
(plus its the only place for F1 this year)

and Virgin?
Buy something like a Spiderbox, buy a lifetime sub to one of the various cccam sites, and voila, you have sky TV, and thousands of other foreign channels (for footy, movies etc) for the rest of your life, without any monthly subs.

Its ridiculous that they still charge £10 extra just to use HD broadcasts. The quality is abysmal anyway, like all broadcasted "HD" programming. Any poorly encoded or highly compressed blu ray rip will look infinitely better than any of the tripe on their movies channels.
They offered me 7months free 3 months back and i turned them down.I think Virgin is the way forward.Virgin's picture is much better and clearer ,i know you get less channels with Virgin, but it comes down to quality over quantity .And Virgin's broadband is way better and faster then Sky's.If you really want this offer and haven't received this flyer just phone them and say you are going to leave; i'm sure they will honor it.
