The 2TB version at £79.00 isn't a bad price either.

*Beware* If you've got a PS3, you'll have to plug this in via a USB hub, it won't play if you plug it straight in.

Yes it does. Works fine with my 1tb passport ultra.

I'm tempted to go for that over this page's deal!

It was this price 3+ months ago? Cold. 3+ month old technology should be cheaper not the same price.

Cheers. Been after a USB 3.0 drive for a while.

From what I gather - nothing. It just allows you to backup to dropbox, so you get what you have with dropbox. Bit of a con really.

Can you use this to back up files from iPhone or iPad?

Any good to attach to a Wii U?

Just to note that Argos also has these 1tb ultra at £49.99.

Should be fine as long as you use it with a Y usb cable. Although there are a few exceptions most usb powered HDD's fail to grab enough power from the Wii U usb port and will restart intermittently. A Y usb cable will allow you to draw the extra power needed from the other Wii U's second USB port.

Unless of course you need the other usb port for something else (cough *wii backups via vWii* cough cough) then you need to look at a mains powered HDD or a USB Stick

These WD passports are probably one of the best portable HDD you can get at the moment and have been for a while. They are small, slim, powered from usb so no need for power adapter and can run on USB 3 so data transfer is a lot quicker.
Western Digital are the world leaders in hard drives so i`d go with them, and i have used them all my life still have WD HDDs from the 90`s, one a caviar which only has about 100MB storage and still works, but for obvious reasons i don`t use it anymore.
