Certainly not butter - says it's made from buttermilk. Might be useful, if all else fails, for lubricating sqeaky gates.

Shown on national Farmfoods leaflet as available until 14 July.

Absolutely horrid. Dnt know wat kind of margarine this is but it just won’t melt on toast
I use this to oil the gears on an old petrol lawnmower, works a treat!
I get it - tastes just like owt else to me Maybe my taste buds are shot tho
same couldnt get this to melt on toast so binned it in the end.
Just get proper butter wouldn’t touch margarine with a barge pole. I have a butter dish for the butter and leave it on the worktop it won’t go off and makes it easy to spread in toast.

Work great on the sliders of patio, with added advantage of its industrial strength gives it many years to withstand all seasons.

Wouldn't touch "proper butter" with a barge pole either. Margarine is not the same as it was in the 80s. Basically just seed oils and vitamins now
It has always been this price, and very good value.
It is illegal to sell margarine nowadays, which was one molecule away from plastic.

If you look at the packs now they say they are spreads. The formula has changed. I use the farm foods OP one on toast and on bread and there is nothing wrong with it

Whatever it is it’s Disgusting

It's from the makers of Richmond Sausages, so the pedigree is impeccable:

Ingredients

Vegetable Oils, Water, Reconstituted Buttermilk (8%), Salt (1.3%), Stabiliser (Sodium Alginate), Emulsifier (Mono and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids, Sunflower Lecithin), Preservative (Potassium Sorbate), Lactic Acid, Flavouring, Colour (Carotenes), Vitamins A and D

Disgusting? A little unfair, I think - much like Richmond Sausages you're not supposed to eat it!

Check the ingredients again, very few of ingredients will have passed thorough a cows udder. You place to much faith in the collusion between industrial chemical engineers and marketing men.
