They are a pretty solid bit of kit
Really nice little machine with a lovely screen, great sound and nice trackpad.

I got one off eBay for £160 ish with a 128gb ssd which fit my needs is fine.
Great deal. Last time i bought e7240 with i5, 128gb msata ssd and 16gb ram and Linux Mint flaying on it. This one is even better (5 gen i5 and fhd screen).

eBay
How does this compared with similar thinkpad line (2nd hand)?

I know thinkpad were generally known for good build quality (although it went down during this period) and easy to fix it yourself.

But most come with very minimal warranty. That's not an issue for me but would be a sticking point for some, including my friend who was looking at this.

One of these with a slightly quicker cpu and an allegedly new battery and zero warranty went for almost £260 on ebay last night, so this was a cracking price.

Yes, like i said before it was great deal. I tried to find cheap laptop for play with Linux and i spent 2-3 months checked many shops with used stuff until i bought mine. I think your friend needs to go same path.
Ordered it!! Came back in stock for like 20mins

Why adding to Highlights when it's clearly oos?
Can't stand itzoo, the deals get posted constantly on here. Only problem is... They have like 1 or 2 of each model, very annoying and not even worth a look anymore.

Get one on ebay.
Latitudes are good but this model is ancient. Cold

It wasn't when I added it to Highlights, I tested / went through checkout and was available then
Got one yesterday, it's a cracking little laptop! Can't tell the difference in general use compared to my work laptop and that has an i5-8250u.

You've got to be quick with ITZoo! Their stock does update frequently though.

Mine has the fingerprint scanner.
And yes, the average user would be oblivious to the fact the MS Word opens 0.1 seconds slower than a current gen model.

Was yours one of these from ITZOO? Still waiting on delivery for mine. Fingerprint scanner would be nice, but since I'll be using Linux it's debatble whether it will work.

I must be unlucky then, hoped to have mine before the weekend as I'm going away for work for the next week. Still if it turns out to have a fingerprint sensor that will be a bonus.

How do you rate the condition of yours? Is the battery health good?

Mine is in excellent condition. The battery seems OK, not really has a chance to test day to day endurance. From first power up I was using for most of the day on battery power alone and I managed to:
Configure Windows from scratch
Update Windows several times
Install Office 365, Solidworks, Visual Studio and god knows how many other apps that I use.
Then just general use for the rest of the day, did a full charger when it got down to 15%

That sounds pretty good to me, will easily get me through a full day of work in that case since most of my stuff is via RDP anyway.
Has anyone had delivery yet? I ordered on Wednesday but had no word about when its coming

I emailed them to check when it was being delivered (got a very quick reply) and then got another automated email once it was dispatched along with a tracking ref.

They are very good at replying, so if you want an update just drop them a message.
