I'm not really an expert regarding VPNs but seems a good deal. Very nice reviews.

Has anyone used this? Any feedback?

Deal of a lifetime

Sounds amazing. How do you do VPN through Xbox though? Doesnt that have to be through a specific VPN router?

Original Poster

This is the first time I am using VPN so need to figure out how to set up.

Never used a VPN before but isn't Netflix blocking VPN users?

If you check Stacksocial, then it's the same store / deal that they use. They have loads of offers on various lifetime subscriptions for VPN. I bought the VPN Unlimited one. This looks a good deal as well, although the reviews seem to be mixed on the various review websites but that was the same for my VPN provider.

Will this be blocked by Netflix?

Thanks. Now to see if my router can do this. The other way sounds complicated lol

just don't set it up on your device you use Netflix on ?

That's is one of the main reasons why a non-commercial user, would want to use a VPN for. So that they can access American Netflix etc.

Try using the code MISSYOU10 which should give you a small discount. I've just tested and it worked for me.

I doubt it will work with Netflix as they detect that you are using a VPN. I use Getflix, which at present the redirection only works in a browser.

Will this work on NVidia Shield and Amazon Firestick ?

I pay in dollars and have it registered to a American company address and use a VPN. Before I took the agro of setting that up, I used to share my UK account with a friend in Canada and just use the VPN. As long as it was being used overthere I had no issues.

I think I need to get a router and attach to my broadband hub, seems my hubs configuration is very limited.

I have Nord VPN
This is testing with fairly good speeds. 80 Mbps on virgin 200mb
UK server a bit flaky at moment could be a demand issue due this post
Germany France averaging 60mbos
US Mbps

Apps on IOS and android user friendly comparable the big players

Reviews are middling for this VPN compared to the big boys like express , nord and pia
Logs in Hong Kong
In conclusion I think these may suffer from demand issues time will tell
I think a good deal for first time users and casual users
Kodi and peer on feedback over time will tell us
Worth a pop ? I would say at this price why not

Seems to have positive feedback on trust pilot over a decent spread of time, although the name Theodore in support seems to pop up frequently.

Seems it is really easy to use for regular users, app on windows and android (ios should be same) really straightforward. Install, login, click connect. Until I don't have a decent router I need to use this way.

Those reviews are looking like fake insider posts.

All accounts with 1 review and all talking about the same web agent.
All worded very similar, they've put me off wanting to test this.

Review on Amazon for router
By Jonathan on 16 Mar. 2017
Size: 11 NStyle: Good (N300) Verified Purchase
Not tried it yet but initial impressions are that TP-Link are not selling what the product listing show's. No UK plug was supplied with the purchase of this router. As a result, I have to purchase an additional travel adaptor...

I might go for the 2 year option with the discount as a service like this is not going to last a lifetime and after 2 years things are bound to of charges.

The 2 year offer is further down the page at 19.99

Any new VPN users out there (i recently went with VPN Unlimited) it is definitely worth checking for WebRTC leaks. There are plenty of simple online checks for DNS and IP leaks. There is a very simple Chrome extension WebRTC Network Limiter that locks this down nicely. Ensure you select the Use My Proxy Server option! I believe Firefox is a little more involved.
Just because you have a VPN, don't automatically assume you are remotely anonymous.

I went with the 2 year option worked out at £12.79 with the discount

I went with the 2 year deal to check it out as I like testing out different VPN clients. The reviews do look suspiciously fake as there are many of them very similar and only 1 review for many of the users..

If anyone bought this it would be great if someone had first hand experience

What's the performance like? They don't offer a free trial...

Given some of the reviews, I have severe doubts that the 'email support to extend after 5 years' bit will actually work. Would still be good value though if it does work for 5 years and is decent.

Free 7 day trial on their own website.

their is a lot of criteria you have to meet under the 7 day guarantee to get a refund:
You claim for a refund within 7 days of your subscription date
Your account has not already been suspended by Ivacy for breach of any clause mentioned in the terms of service
You have not consumed more than 7GB of bandwidth, which includes both upload and download activity using Ivacy; or you have not exceeded 30 sessions i.e. the number of times you connected to Ivacy services, whichever occurs first
You previously have not claimed a refund under this policy
You have not used BitCoin or Paymentwall as your payment method

haha tbh I wouldn't take me more than an hour or two to go over the 7gb limit in our household. Seems to be one of the main complaints with this provider is the the 7 day guarantee as well as the fact that it is a chinese company.

Just.Wondering

Came out as £14.43 for me using MISSYOU10 and paying by paypal. Is ther another code?

How does a VPN protect u from spyware?
I know nothing about VPN. Seems worth it at this price just to get past the stupid region blocking of american tv shows/trailers on ABC lol
