I'm buying this as I don't have an iPhone and don't want one. But I want to use the apple dock on my stereo for my android mobile.

I have found a cheaper one £4.18 in china

I've bought two versions of something that looks very similar. The cheap one from China I bought off eBay works OK, but 'pops' loudly when starting and stopping play. The more expensive one (branded Anycom) works beautifully.

Shame it's r&c only. No Curry's near me or on route till the weekend.

Thanks sounds interesting

I have a similar device (iLink) which works brilliantly but bluetooth range is rather limited (although that might be my phone rather than the iLink).

Now with FREE home delivery!

Anyone know if these work with digital connectors? Had a cheapo Chinese one and it didn't work with my system.

been and found one at a reasonable local PC World but it doesnt work with the Sony dock i tried it with so im afraid it will be going back

Some docks will detect if you plugged something other than an iPhone/iPod into them and switch then off the dock's power. I've got a cheap Gear4 dock and this is happy with anything you give it, but that probably because it's cheap and lacking in functionally of the more expensive docks (like Sony's).

Yeah, it stays powered up all the time. You can see the phone connect to it and thats fine but no sound comes out of the dock.

Its a shame as its such a great idea!

Great

Got mine today. Doesn't work on either of my 2 docks. Problem is they're expecting an iPod as they have controls for playing and skipping etc. So the docks kind of refuse to detect it properly and nothing is played
Damn HUKD making me spend money on crap!!!

Got one and tried it on two docks we have for iPods and classic and both pick up the iphone 5 playing music via bluetooth one of the docks is a bose sound dock so on the strength of that have ordered another. I am more than happy ! One for each range not great however not bothered as phone will be either down stairs or upstairs dependant on which Dock we use

I too have a Gear4 speaker dock. You haven't got the HouseParty Rise by any chance? If so, does this work well?

I have the first gen without Bluetooth so was after a converter.

anyone know how to get it working? I've thrown away the packaging and have tried everything but nothing seems to work!!!

When you attach the unit to your docking station you should get a flashing red and blue lights at which time you need to connect via bluetooth think you put in 0000 if asks for a code . good luck !!
