Looks good. I wonder if these would be an improvement over in built TV speakers

Very very tempting....

I got too tempted and ordered, seems like a great price and get very good reviews, thanks OP

iWantIt make very, very good speakers but a lot of their stuff is dead on arrival or faulty. Check the stock room of any large Currys store and you'll see it full of iWantIts!!

I've heard this up loud and for the price it really is very good. Bassy and clean trebles would be great for a TV somewhere.

How can it be wireless with an ac adaptor? Cold. Still need wires and a socket point. Yeah yeah I know it needs power but remote electricity is nearly possible.

:-) now that's funny.

Its only 2013 Marty, you'll have to go back to the future for that system

Anyone have any idea how long the 'connecting cable' between the sub-woofer and 10 watt speakers is?

It's wireless for a reason a dock would defeat the purpose

...and it's not sony!

Could this be connected to a TV via the 3.5 jack on TV and then the speakers placed other side of the room wirelessly?

The TV just had a 3.5mm output jack, but I want to keep the speakers on other side of the room without placing wires down.

You can connect via 3.5mm but you will need cables from the sub-woofer to the auxiliary speakers. I asked earlier if anyone knows how long the connecting cables are, but haven't had an answer yet.

Bought the same brand but wireless headset at currys, sound quality was crap, it disturb your wireless conn. As always, PC world customer service is poor, they didnt wanna change it or refund me...
I always think 3 times before buying anything from Currys/PC World...

I think everyone's made enough fun out of you so just to clarify - it's wireless in the sense of how it receives sound, not power. You can use Bluetooth for sound, which is wireless if you're using it from a phone, laptop etc. And if you have a desktop/TV/whatever, you can always use a wired 3.5mm connection.

Just got one. Sounds excellent, loud with good bass. The speaker leads aren't very long at all by the way. It says they can be 2.1m away from the sub on the box

For something that is a Currys PC World own brand. This has some great sound quality. For the price it's a win win.

GG.

this looks cool but do they sound good at all? I'd probably need at least above average to get it

I bought these yesterday as a last minute thing for a party.

They sound great for such tiny speakers, and I've not had any connectivity problems.

Three of my friends have tried this morning to find some in stock, but aparrently they are selling out everywhere. Definitely would recommend for this price.

The sound on this is fantastic I've had it for a week now and I'm amazed how good it is the only down side I can find with it is these no way of turning the bass down and it is loud. Would of bin nice to have an optic port to but don't see how you can get anything better for this price. At full price it's still a good buy

Yes, supply of low frequency wireless power to devices is still a few years off !!!!

May also be just a few health scares to follow. But then like mobile phone manufacturers before, the indistry will sponsor a few reports to give the "right" answer...

Looks like another one of those products where the only people who think they sound good are the ones listening to genres of music with very little detail and just a load of noise.

Plus the whole low bitrate bluetooth audio thing...

I'd still rather spend £20 less and get a logitech bluetooth adapter which can be used with any set of speakers that have RCA/AUX input.

Just got some, the speakerd and controller are connected on the dame cable and can be 1.5 to 2 metres from the sub woofer. There are sockets for two aux devices to be connected by cable on the back of the sub woofer. if you had a long enough aux cable you could put them anywhere but there would be no advantage to having the Bluetooth, you might as well get wired speakers
The sound quality is really good IMO. I am listening to an internet radio station on my phone transmitting to the speakers by Bluetooth now. Not good for the battery but I have all the music in the world at my fingertips.

Great little unit, I've had mine for 2 weeks and everyone that's listened to them have been impressed, and tempted to go and buy some. OK so Bluetooth is a drain but your using them in the house so it's no hardship to plug the phone in on charge if you need a top up.
As with the comment above I too bought them to use at a party last minute and connected my laptop to them, played quality sounds with good base for the house and garden.

i got the little white ipsbt412 unit a couple of months back! amazing sound.reserved this one based on that alone.heat OP nice one.thanks.

I wouldn't buy either, so why should it matter?

A simple suggestion to those looking into wireless audio solutions outside of Apple products.

Bought 1! well worth £40

Amazing quality! Thanks to the OP
