I just went into my local Sainsbury and found these on the shelf for 42p!!
I think this has been posted before but I assume that they went out of stock pretty quick. My local store (Harlow) seemed to have had a new delivery, so maybe other stores may have had some new stock.

I imagine for £0.42 you really would get what you pay for, but still not bad 42p. Hot from me.

If some could buy me one I would pay for the item and the 2nd Class Postage!

Good one:thumbsup: and I hope all the muppets that drive around making calls on the phone will get one and have you noticed it always seems to be people in expensive cars !:x
Any way hot from me:thumbsup:

Oh you hero, Like motorcyclists are a paragon of virtue in fact I've never seen one break the law apart from doing 100mph in a 50 zone or pulling a wheelie personally I'd like to kick the motorcyclists who in traffic drive like maniacs and then wonder why they wake up in A & E. I have been known to open my door at the wrong moment and..........you know the rest.

I really thought this was a good deal until

2 of 3 people found the following review helpful:1.0 out of 5 stars … 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful:1.0 out of 5 stars Before buying anything like this..., 8 Oct 2008By Mr. P. S. Rogers - See all my reviews(REAL NAME) I have used a AAA battery head set for sometime, brilliant, but I lost it; so I bought one of these. It works 100% fine BUT it takes a AAAA battery - where do buy these? I can only find them at specialist electronic shops. What do they cost? About £4 for two. How long do they last? NOT VERY LONG!! Around 2 1/2 hrs talk time per battery I estimate. After £8 worth of batteries in a week it is now winging it's way into the bin and I am buying another AAA headset. Battery headsets in my opinion are by far the best, but I really do recommend if you use your phone a reasonable amount stay well clear of anything with a AAAA battery.

This just someone's opinion, but it gives me doubts

Remember batteries for these can be found really cheaply by dismantling a 9volt square battery where you'll find 6 AAAA inside. If you don't beleive me go onto utube & do a search

What ever type of transport you use you will always get idiots and I would agree with you that some motorcyclists do tarnish us responsible types with the banner of irresponsibility but you must understand that if all car drivers took a basic motorcycle test the roads would be a much safer place as we are taught to be much more aware of what goes on around us. I must also take offence that you think that as we ride motorcycles we should end up in Hospital this not the case as the figures prove (not that I have them to hand) I must also add that i have a full driving license and have been driving up and down motorways for many years doing about 25000 miles per year. I only occasional retaliate towards cars if they cut me up when i am on my bike as i try to be the better man.

I was going to give you the benefit of doubt until i read your latest drivel, as before all road users have idiots but how dare you think that as i ride a motorcycle i must be a crazed loon well the answer is no i am not and please get your facts correct before before even trying to respond to this :x

One thing to beware of before you go stripping your old 9v batteries is that is can be difficult to work out which ends are + and - on the AAAA batteries held within. they dont have the usual bumps on + end.

If it doesnt work one way, turn it around.
No need to be aware.

if anyone could pick me up two of these, id happily pay for the item, the postage and a beer on top

not bad, had one long time a go the ear wrap bit snapped, expensive to replace, buy a few and keep them for spares etc.

I can see how responsible you are from that quote of yours, and when one of the motorist's retaliate you'll be the first one running of to tell the police how you've been assaulted.I commute 4 hours a day in London traffic and I know exactly who are the worst drivers, it's usually born again motorcyclists in their late 30's early 40's and they are usually the ones I see with a blanket covering them up on the side of the road.So go preach elsewhere you pompous ass.

Well, to be fair you did start the conversation saying you kick cars! Plus, you should NEVER 'retaliate' on the road as it's never going to end well is it?

 Heat added, Went into wolverhampton and they could not believe the price. Even the staff started to buy them...... they had 20 delivered to wolves....

Please guys, all of you, take a chill pill.

Heat added as this is by far a Suupppper deal A+++ Oh and has already been mentioned. The AAAA Bats are only 1.5 volt so if you get your polarity wrong, then just switch it the other way round no harm done!

in short term yes, in long term no your right....maybe I would just go after them punch them in a bit and cable tie them to a street light lol....... oh wait a sec their on a bike (well perhaps i would if they were on foot)

These really do eat batteries, I've got one.

Also the cells out of a 9v battery are about 5mm shorter than a standard AAAA battery so unless you pack out the cavity with tin foil they don't make contact.

Save yourself the heartache and buy a rechargeable one, you'll thank yourself later.
