Great deal on limited edition (cheaper than standard Jack). Went into Sainsburys to get the FIFA 16 deal and thought this would go perfectly with it. £35+ everywhere else I've seen it.

Damn, now got to go to Sainsburys today! Heat
is this just normal jack Daniels, or is there something different about it
I may be wrong, but i think this is the standard Jacks, but has a different label. There are a few iirc, each with a different picture of the various Master Distillers that have worked at JD.

It may turn out that i dreamt that, but i believe thats what this version is.
It's slightly stronger than standard Jack. Also these are only 70cl bottles. I bought 2 at the weekend.

Charcoal Mellowed Tennessee Whiskey

Quality & Craftsmanship since 1866

Every drop made in Lynchburg Tennessee

Jack Daniel stood just five-foot-two-inches tall and was a fiercely independent man.
He stands bigger than life today because of his reputation for painstaking quality and being a maker of fine whiskey.

Mr. Jack Left home at an early age and went to live with a local minister who taught him the art of making and mellowing fine whiskey.
Jack's reputation for painstaking quality and craftsmanship soon became legendary.

Nooooo. GJ is much better.
The stronger one was 'White Rabbit' limited edition HERE
Description says it is 3% stronger than normal JD... Awesome lol
Yes got this last week and it is indeed 43% abv
So much for this being a 'limited edition' Jack when I bought this very 'limited edition' months ago and I see it's still on sale. And btw the faders who would mix this with coke and the likes, just go and buy regular Jack instead.
You cannot use liquor as part of the Fifa 16 deal actually. I tried and failed.

Sorry, didn't realise that as I bought loads of shopping as well
Master distiller is a series of bottles. It's more about the bottle and box rather than the contents. I always thought it was regular Jack inside. The bottles have a numbered picture but it's the number in the series not a unique serial number.
As for gentleman Jack, that's very different. But those interested may also wish to look up Monogram, Silver Select, Holiday Select and others!

Or just buy this and mix it with Coke as it is cheaper than regular Jack

Great deal, this is the only whiskey I enjoy drinking.
I prefer rum most of the time but this deal is good value for money.

43% alcohol though woahhhhh lol
I'm going to get 6 bottles!
This is great stuff. Anyone saying it's the same as the original but a higher abv is absolutely wrong, I promise you. I drink a lot of Jack (read too much) , silver select, gentleman Jack, single barrel, and this one is definitely my favorite. Thanks op, heading there now.

I guess so, but you might get a sore bum after a while.

So what's the limited edition white rabbit like ? What do u think of the new fire one , it's like fireball only better I think
Will have to pick this up when I visit to get 25% off school uniform for the kid!

Absolutely. It's smoother than the regular stuff so if you like the taste on the tongue but not the bite at the back then this is it.

I haven't tried the white rabbit one, but my friend has a bottle so I'm looking forward to trying it. The fireball one doesn't appeal to me but I can tell you the winter jack apple one is bloody awful.

I know it's bad that Apple winter stuff is not good at all I may just give my bottle away . Once had the jack Daniels coffee now that was different
Can someone tell me which master distiller this for and which number pls
#16 is a sensible reply.

This is primarily about the bottle and not the drink inside. Its still a good price, for a good drink.

Though that said, dont ever mention Monogram, Silver & Holiday select in the same sentence as this bottle

It's ok but for me the fireball I would be better option because of price at only £11 and the fire at £25 the extra £14 is not worth it , I hope they do a cherry one because the red stag is very nice

How cheery would you like it?
Just a happy go lucky kind of cheery or a manic laugh kind of cheery?
I agree Red Stag is nice.

Ha ha cheers for that just a cheery cherry will do
is this for a litre?
Eugh! Whiskey with an e is just not whisky. Gotta be scotch. Irish at a push, but USA - blegh, unless you're mixing it with coke.

Are you drunk?! Try some half decent scotch whisky , you will never buy whiskey with an e again. Famous Grouse is £13 per 75cl at the mo.
