Hi guys, just a footnote on this. I went into my local Kingston Park Tesco superstore in Newcastle upon Tyne and the shelf ticket price was £30. Queried this with the wines and spirits manager and he was adamant the ticket price was correct even though I had shown him the web site link on my mobile at £25, saying it would be an online offer only. However, on my way out I happened to notice a rolling billboard at the store front with lastest offers showing and low and behold one of them was single barrel JD at £25 commencing 11/12 (today). Went straight back into the store and took this up with the customer services desk so no argument I did get a bottle for £25. Hopefully just a one off complication at this store

Yep, normal JD 40% by volume, this 45% but also it’s just a smoother more refined drink.

Just been on chat to them and no budge, not even for credit

It's annoying this deal... Whenever it comes up, I go into 2 or 3 stores (1 is a huge store too) and it's never on the shelf

Hopefully my local Tesco has it tomorrow but stuck a price match request in with Amazon anyway.

Not at my local express stores but can confirm it was at the larger carnforth store , on an end of isle

Loads available in Park Road, Liverpool. A handful are in nice boxes too.

Just picked up the last one on the shelf in Bournemouth. Great deal.

Just bagged a couple of bottles from Telford J6. Was labelled up as £30, but asked for a price check at the till and rang through as £25. Ty for the post

They had about 7 bottles left in Ashby just picked one up. Priced at £25

Amazon doing this at £27.99 now

ordered 4, turned up with gentlemen jack - told then to beat it, typical tesco

On principle you’re damn right, can’t bear Tesco’s, its the only reason went in the first place.

Great price but deal already posted.

Got this offer online last week. I’ve just finished one of these earlier, it’s ok for £25, but it’s really difficult to throw away the empty bottle

Great deal thanks

Saying 'Currently Unavailable'

damn, hope will get one tonight for new year.

If price error on their part they usually double refund on what you been overcharged. So say it should been £25 and you charged £30, it been a tenner refunded. Unless policy changed....

I posted that comment on a duplicate thread yesterday, which has now been deleted, but I think the mods have moved the comments over to your thread.

Does anyone know how this compares to the Gentleman Jack?

Found one on the shelf for 25£

Plenty still left at Tesco Hermiston Gate, Edinburgh, but none at Corstorphine

I actually prefer Gentleman Jack but this is great for the money, if you want to try it.

Like said above, once you see the evidence at £25 buy it. If they'd have charged £30 then go to CS and point out their error. You would have got "Double the difference" back and got it for £20.
