Very good price IMO.

I think last years lowest price was 2 for £25 again towards Christmas...
Not as good as the two for for £25 deal but cheapest ive seen it in a long time. if ur thinking of stocking up for christmas i would hang on a while as the prices will go even lower come december.
Let the price wars commence.
happy days
Anyone got a link to last year's 2 for £25 deal?

I remember it being as low as £14 for 70cl and £20 for the 1ltr bottle but JD is hardly ever included in the "2 for" and when it is it's 50cl bottles.

Heat added, saw Sainsburys also have Jim Beam "Honey" and Jim Beam Red Stag for £15 each, combined with a £12 of £60 voucher it's tempting to place my first online order.
The 70cl bottle was in two for £25 although its been around 2 years since ive seen this deal in tesco
cold; not a bargain

The best Tesco deal was 2 years ago, when Jameson worked out at £12.50 a bottle. They were also giving out plenty of discount vouchers at the time. 2-for-25-various-spirits-tesco

What's a bargain?

It's much cheaper than it usually is and as a JD drinker I say thanks for the heads up!
It's rank.

I'm not fond of straight Jack (I'm more a Four Roses or Elijah Craig man - and yes I know they are bourbons and Jack is a sour mash), but it's decent with a mixer. If buying for Christmas, probably worth waiting a couple more weeks, someone is bound to do a better offer.
£15 for the bottle and £21.50 for a litre in Tesco just now.
Been waiting for this to come on offer. Super hot!

The usual price of JD is currently around the £26-28 mark, so it's a very good deal.
But as said, Tesco have had a 2 for £25 deal for the last 3 or 4 years in early december, but still, great price.

oO Where you shopping!?

A 70cl around these parts is £18.99 at the very top end! This is a decent saving, but the local Big in Booze does Bullet for £17 and it's not enough of a saving to move me from that.

The local supermarket is a co-op, their regular price is £26.88... haven't bought one since the price hike mind!
The rise is to do with a recent distributor change in the UK, so says my little whisky shop man anyway. Who i visit much more often now! For 27 quid you can get some right nice imported bourbons that aren't on regular supermarket distribution.

Four roses is currently on by 2 get 3rd free on 1 litre bottles at the carrefour in Calais - 3 litres for 44 Euros. Not much good if you are no planning a trip to France mind

You must be referring to the 1 litre size...the 700ml isnt..and has never been £28..even at Harrods.

That sounds like a damn good plan!
Whats the voucher details?
I just got a 70cl bottle of Grants for £12 at Tesco, didn't notice the JD on offer (would have bought it if I had seen it!)
There won't be any 2 for £25 deals this year, just straight up price cuts, of course you don't have to take my word for it. This is one example of Sainsburys setting the price and Tesco and Asda ensuring they are cheaper so don't be surprised to see a £14 or a little less for this bottle in the last week of this month.

Apologies, I should have quoted the code but I didnt have it on me at the time.
In the end I got 2x JD, 1x Red Stag and my all time fave (on offer at £21 ish - Makers Mark) Came to 50 odd quid delivered tomorrow
Not in Sainsburys Canley! It is £21 a bottle
The offer instore starts from midnight tonight
JD is always overpriced in the UK. £15 is probably all it is worth when you consider the price of much superior bourbons/ sour mashes such as makers mark, bullet, Knob creek etc. I wish the UK supermarkets would start to stock Crown Royal ( for those who like the honey JD, try the maple Crown Royal). Crown Royal is about the same price as JD in the states, but is far superior (IMO). I would happily pay £18-19 a bottle from my local supermarket. A man can dream.

Anyway heat added as £15 is a deal considering the usual selling price.
