The sequel was dreadful, I’d suggest going for excellent first film only...

OP, please mention that you are paying for a stream. Can't be downloaded. …OP, please mention that you are paying for a stream. Can't be downloaded. I think that's useful for anybody that's not familiar with iTunes and their 4k offers.

Why? You post it on every iTunes deal anyway!

No trolling today, back under the bridge you go.

We get it you hate Apple, but this relentless regurgitation of the same trolling is getting tiresome to say the least. Grow up.

This will be liked the 5th time I'm reporting him. Other 4 times he was deleted off feeds.
And he's gone!

He's a troll, does it on every post. Can be downloaded through iTunes and look it up on YouTube, it is a 4k film.

But he's actually right. It's on the official Apple site. You can download an HD copy, you can even download HDR information for some films. But you can't download a 4K copy, only stream. The text on Apple's site is...

"Check your Internet connection.
The higher the quality of the video that you're streaming, the faster your Internet connection has to be. (Apple recommends a minimum speed of 25 Mbps for 4K streaming.) Your Apple devices automatically switch the video quality to a lower quality version if your Internet connection isn't fast enough.
You can download a local copy of an HD movie to your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC, and you might be able to download HDR and Dolby Vision versions to your iOS devices, but you can't download a 4K version."

I looked into this as I was tempted by the Apple's cheap 4K films, but as I have a dodgy internet connection it was important to me to be able to download, then play uninterrupted from the download. Was gutted to find out Apple won't let you.

It’s the same for all the streamers. Rakuten, amazon etc etc he chooses to just jump on iTunes though is never on the others. Unfortunately you don’t have a great internet, if there’s nothing you can do that sucks as these deals are so good and quality difference to the majority is no different compared to a disc. The savings I’m making on these deals are wicked!

Glad it works for you! Personally I'll stick with Amazon's HD service for now, and spend more on physical 4k discs. So far this year I've got Mother! BR2049, Hostiles, and Phantom Thread. Not many, but quality (imo) I'm willing to pay extra for.

I'm sure in future years they will allow 4k downloads as AppleTV (or similar) onboard memory increases, and/or 4k becomes more mainstream. You never know, the country's internet infrastructure might even improve!

Maybe it's a license deal apple have with 4k movies as they only charge for the HD version, or maybe it's just Apple being Apple to stop people playing 4k movies on a device other than an 4K Apple TV. I'm going with the latter and yes I ďo own an Apple 4K TV.
I love the irony of casting Tom Cruise to play 6’ 5” Jack Treacher
