This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Party Pack 1 £9.49 (-50%)

Party Pack 2 £9.49 (-50%)

Party Pack 3 £12.34 (-35%)

Party Pack 4 £12.34 (-35%)

Party Pack 5 £15.46 (-35%)

Party Pack 6 £16.65 (-30%)

They also have a group package of 1-4 and 1-5 on 'sale' but it's cheaper to buy them all at their individual sale prices.

The Jackbox games are party games where anyone can join if they have a room code. Great in the current climate for having some fun with friends/family if one person is sharing their screen on (for example) a Skype call and people can participate using their phones/tablets.

kicking myself for not picking the lot up when they were in a Humble Bundle...
These are great fun - you can stream over Steam or Twitch / Discord to have a laugh with family during lockdown

This is a good guide if you only want one pack:

I'm not sure about Twitch or discord but the delay when broadcasting with steam can cause issues for the people watching, Skype doesn't have such a delay.

Cheers - Steam streaming should be plenty good enough though..?

They may have improved it, when I last used it (>1 year ago) it was about 10-15 seconds which meant the timers/countdowns in the game were out of sync with what was actually happening
Which one(s) worth picking up?

I'd say 3 is overall the best in my opinion

Fibbage is good in the second one and I enjoy the rap one in 5.

Mixer with low latency mode and you're golden. Do it all the time from my xbox.

I've streamed some of these games over discord fine, a bit of buffering in one case due to terrible wifi but you can easily drop the quality

discord works pretty well, twitch works with extended timers usually as there can be 15+ seconds of delay depending on worldwide connection speeds - but i've been playing with people in America so that could be a factor

Twitch delay is <2 seconds if you enable low-latency mode.

Mixer doesn't lag. I used to stream on my pc until Microsoft pulled the plug on streaming direct.
Best pack to buy?
[ive pack 1&2]

Or best games?
[quiplash - you build your own answers so it’s pitched at the tone of the players
Drawful- fun variant
Fibage - Ok but for the American element]

I played over mixer with no delays
If I wanted to play with someone remotely would they also need to purchase the game? Got drawful2 the other day but would like to play with a couple of technophobes at the other end of the country.

No, you just need to give them the code the game will generate and they enter that into the jackbox webpage. Ideally you'd also stream your screen to them so they need two phones and a device to watch your screen on and ideally a camera so you can see them.amd they you.
I downloaded the first one after playing number 3, but I see there's no family settings on it.
Is it really that 'adult' for an 8 year old?

Some of the questions can be suggestive, but the tone of the game / level of vulgarity is usually set by the players
For playing this game with those outside your house I recommend using Parsec. It has the lowest latency. Heck, it was designed exactly for this reason.

It's perfect for other local multiplayer games as well.
