I am tempted to buy this speaker. Read a couple of reviews comparing it to the Sonos Play 5 in terms of bass but saying it lacks a little middle depth to the sound.

Hovering on whether to buy it or not but it is the cheapest price it has been on Amazon.

that's a lot of speaker for the money, very good reviews too.... HOT!
No real alexa integration, no line in and no Bluetooth. I'm not sure what I would do with it.

I just watched a video by a guy on Amazon where it said it had a line in mate? I was hoping it would be able to integrate with Alexa though because that would be my reason for buying to stream Amazon Music to it in my bedroom.

No Bluetooth or aux in, is a killer for me.
The symphony does have a 3.5mm input the rythm doesnt
Not keen on the cheap looking front grill, but reviews sound impressive so could be overseen..
It says on their website that it is 'Now with Alexa'? How does it integrate with Alexa if not via bluetooth? Anybody shed some light?
Nothing whatsoever to do with Sonos. Take Sonos out of the title.

It's through the Jam app, so you can ask Alexa a question and presume you can play your Amazon music this way, but doesn't look like the app supports Google music, Amazon music or iTunes streaming directly from the app, but you can stream your personal library so presume locally stored music on network or phone?

Was tempted by this, compared to more expensive Sonos Play1 & Echo Dot combination, but would prefer a few more options on the app for music streaming services and would prefer it in white.
Okay, the Alexa thing is a bit of a misleading thing... You can use the app on your phone but there are no microphones in the speaker like you would a Sonos One or an Echo. You could probably say that it uses Google Assistant as you could just use that from your phone too!

The demo units in Currys are disappointing as they don't actually play any music through them as each button tells you about different aspects of the system instead - bit of an issue there and because they are wifi you can't just link your phone to them to listen to different music. The short bits of music in the demos however shows that the symphony definitely has some potential.

I would suggest if people are comparing it to the Play 5 and it isn't a million miles away, then they represent blindingly good value. Their construction seems solid and although they look fairly anonymous, maybe that is the idea just to have these 'hiding' in the house.

Overall, seems like a great deal - heat from me, if only you could audition it properly before buying!
Tempted to give these ago.... They are half the price of the Sonos play 1 at the moment and these are being compared to the play 5
Ive bought two, set them up in a stereo pair and they are good, excellent value. Ignore the bad reviews and poor app rating, works absolutely spot on with Spotify connect. Very impressed. Certainly not as good quality as a Sonos play 5 but it's definitely respectable. Tempted to buy another 2
Why not go for the JBL playlist for a few quid more on iwoot. The code for the hukdeals one has expired but I managed to find another code to get the 20 quid off. Has Bluetooth, line in and Chromecast.
