still says £99.99 for me

Its in the process of going live i think, says £49.99 for me on purchase screen but when i click buy it states the item is being updated. I think it will be working properly in a few minutes. It was like this for Transformers too this morning.
Great price for the whole collection!
Blu ray boxset £59.99 on Amazon, that doesn't include Spectre in 4K. If this set gets a full 4K upgrade then this will be bargain of the year for 4K users.
Heat added. Itunes is making me jump through hoops with these boxset prices they've been releasing. Just glad that there's offers to get discount on itunes gift cards to sweeten the deal

Where are you getting your gift card buddy?

Sainsburys have just finished thier deal.
Randomly still showing as £99.99, ive spoken to apple support they are aware of the problem and the sale price will be going live soon and its definately todays deal so please dont expire!
pretty sure it's been fifty quid on iTunes before, maybe a couple of times. I might get it this time.
Looks like it should be £49.99 as there is no box set on offer at the moment for today’s sale. Fingers cross it will go live today. Heat from me, especially as it is highly likely to go to 4K in the near future.
Not sure it will be live today, as the itunes 10 years bundle just popped up for £9.99
Been waiting for this since Christmas, still £99.99

Good offer, don't forget you can use Zeek or CDKeys to get more money off. Wish I'd got the a 20% off iTunes cards deal the other week now.

£50 iTunes is currently £46.99 on CD Keys cdkeys.com/top…-50

Boots have 10% off iTunes cards at the moment

Thanks for going to the effort, was hoping to see this price cut this week, just sold my Blu Ray collection with a plan to get these instead!
With these being 4K on US iTunes, can anyone speculate whether this will be upgraded?

hmmmmm ideally I was looking for over 80%, but with you being so close to that I may well buy them

Great now the advert has gone from iTunes. Im guessing some technical issue is to blame, the transformers deal stayed active well past midnight. Now the 10 years bundle is £9.99 and no bundle is showing on thier main promotion page (and that bundle sucks if youve bought any of the other recent bundles as all the films are pretty much duplicated).

I can only assume the Bond deal is going to happen....its just a question of when, otherwise why bother making the header picture in my above comments?

What are they playing at?

I think they are doing the 10 Year Anniversary collection for £10 today. Fingers crossed for Bond tomorrow.
Most likely holding this for next week? Father's day special? Recall it being £50 then too, but missed out, so will grab this as soon it drops

Will the older bond films recorded with old tech, be anything near 4K quality?

Depends what your expectations are I suppose. They were shot on celluloid film which effectively has an infinite resolution so ‘4k quality’ should be a breeze since 4k is effectively a downgrade. Older film tends to show a fair amount of grain though so if you prefer the clean digital look of today’s films then you might be disappointed.
"Skyfall" is a "Today Only" special offer @ £3.99 - so it's very unlikely that the "24 Bond" offer will be today!

As all the artwork seems ready it should be within the next few days - hopefully!

Eunice Gayson the very first Bond girl died today aged 90.

It will add appropriate respect to the offer and my enjoyment in watching Dr No.
Looks like no joy today (Sunday) either.
Interesting update, the collection has completely disappeared from iTunes now.

It gets even stranger! The staff I spoke to confirmed it was going to be price corrected yet it never went down from £99.99.

I wonder if they wanted to push the Daniel Craig film and bundle first but mistakenly posted the entire box set deal early. Hence the back pedal.

After seeing what they have done with some sets recently (JP went from £14.99 to £12.99 to £9.99 then back to £12.99 etc) I'm dubious to buy anything now in case the sets drop even further.
On the other hand im also scared to miss some of the great deals.

Tempted by Indy despite owning the blu rays.
Just to update all those interested, i spoke to Apple for the 3rd time today after originally being told the price would be reduced eventually. They stated i had missed the promotion (I / we did not!) and that the £49.99 price was no longer available!?! I asked when the collection will return for purchase as it is currently unavailable and they informed me they had no return date and it will be unavailable until further notice. Make of that what you will, basically they washed their hands of it.

I have seen my comments being added to 4K forums elsewhere and some people are implying i made this deal up. I did not, it was genuinely advertised and i have done everything in my power to chase this up with apple for all those interested. Id much rather be watching Bond than having to type this if im honest.

Im hoping this is just one big glitch and we got advance warning of this deal coming live soon.

Anyway, sorry for getting people excited, it wasnt my intention to mislead.

Hi EstorilBlue .. you didn’t make this up! I saw it myself after midnight when it went live, and it was £99.99 still, although the poster (as you’ve screen captured) listed it as £49.99 for one day only. Still hope my that that this will be re-listed for £49.99 as a Father’s Day deal this weekend!

Thanks for all your updates and chasing Apple, although in my past experiences, they don’t know much themselves about listings etc!
