A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci), the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as SPECTRE.

Meanwhile back in London, Max Denbigh (Andrew Scott), the new head of the Centre for National Security, questions Bonds actions and challenges the relevance of MI6, led by M (Ralph Fiennes). Bond covertly enlists Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) and Q (Ben Whishaw) to help him seek out Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux), the daughter of his old nemesis Mr White (Jesper Christensen), who may hold the clue to untangling the web of SPECTRE. As the daughter of an assassin, she understands Bond in a way most others cannot.

Is this the same price instore?
And typical Amazon they've dropped the price to match Tesco but unless you have Prime or spend £20 there's a delivery charge so better to buy from Tesco and get free delivery
Is there a 3D blu ray version of this - can't find any details of it ?

Not AFAIK...seems to be DVD, Blu-Ray and Steelbook but no mention of 3D....I am at the moment eagerly awaiting my postman to deliver my steelbook copy that I pre-ordered from Amazon ages ago....mmmm best not lay in wait and suddenly open the door just as he reaches it as it gave him a hell of a shock the last time I did that...so much so he fell backwards down my steps much to my horror oO

Daniel did a fab job but I think we are ready for a new bond now, it's getting all too familiar again.

In my opinion... no.

No
Truley an awful film. Rapey style Bond is back, women are objects, car chases pointless and the villian loses so easily. Nothing new or fresh here. Had high hopes Bond would continue to get grittier and more real world after Skyfall but instead it just went backwards and turned into a Roger Moore film. Sigh.

The £7 price tag is a good price for release day so heat if you want this film.

An awful film IMO, one of the worst Bond movies

Too long and too much talking, action scenes are plain silly

Arrived yet? Mine has but I'm at work so will only see it much later. Apparently, the steelbook isn't particularly good but I'm a Bond fan so sure I'll still like it
Interesting reading all the reviews for the movie above. I thoroughly enjoyed it. For me, it was a typical "Bond" movie. Which is why I enjoyed it. It had the unrealistic action scenes, the over the top script that a Bond movie needs to have. The problem is that everyone is comparing it to Skyfall which IMO was not a typical Bond movie. It was a really good movie but not a Bond movie. Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion but after growing up watching all the Bond movies, I still enjoyed it as a Bond movie.
Cracking price for DVD , but where is the blu ray deal...

this isn't a great film, i was really disappointed. It promises so much and builds you up only to flatline. There wasn't much originality, a couple of good scenes but mostly forgettable.
I enjoyed it, if I'm honest!
It's a Bond film, not something deep and meaningful.
heat for the price, but I wasn't overly impressed with spectre. think I had high expectations after Skyfall.
Good price. Morrisons also doing it for £7, but only if you spend at least £40 on shopping/other goods.
Yet another blockbuster that failed to deliver.
my take:

it's a good bond film (as bond films go) in the sense that it ticks the boxes (action, exotic locations, beautiful ladies, etc). but it's all very by the numbers, and feels quite ordinary and as though its just going through the motions.

whereas skyfall was a great film (not just a great 'bond film') with a excellent emotional focus, which bond films usually don't have. so after that, spectre just seems mediocre and not particularly great.

6.5/10 IMO
