Great deal. Pity not available for kindle.

Once purchased you can download an EPUB copy from the Google Play website and convert it to Kindle MOBI format using a program like Calbre. After that you can just transfer it to your Kindle. I have already bought and converted it. I will have to wait for tomorrow to test it on my kindle, but I am pretty confident it will work fine.

He's not as tough in the books. I read Thunderball and he pukes inside his scuba tank when a guy gets mauled by a barracuda.

Excellent spot, thanks op

No problem! I misspelled Calibre in my comment though in case you are searching for my misspelling and not having any luck. Not all Google Play ebooks can be downloaded as EPUB, but this one allows it.

Thanks! I was indeed able to download the epub and used the epubsplit plugin in Calibre to split them into the individual books.

Moonraker and especially The Spy Who Loved Me - very different from the films, well worth a read.

Brilliant! I'm glad that worked. I tested the whole collection as a single book on my Kindle this morning and it worked perfectly too. I didn't consider splitting them before, but that sounds like a good idea!

I have been looking to read these for a while because my favorite author, Anthony Horowitz, who has been making official sequels to the Sherlock Holmes series recently (As requested by the Arthur Conan Doyle estate) has now been requested by the Ian Fleming estate to create new James Bond books. (based on the style of previous books, not the movies)

The fact that he doesn't appear until 2/3 of the way through the book of Spy Who Loved Me. It's written as a memoir from a woman and her interaction with Bond in the Catskills. Cool book, and yes VERY VERY different from the film.

Great price, heat added.

Won't be buying as I'm still one of those old-fashioned "I like paper books" nerds.

There's no novel called SPECTRE but they are from the books - mainly Thunderball.

I just tested downloading the EPUB again and it still works for me. Are you on the Google Play website in Books->My Books?

Yes, but a product of its time. Also sexist if not outright misogynistic, like the films.

I am. Neither will the PDF download work. Strangely, though, I've managed to download the EPUB on my ipad. I'll need to transfer it to my Windows computer to use Calibre. Thanks for the initial suggestion. I just need to make it work!

It's good to hear that you have found a work-around! It is very odd that your computer wouldn't do it!

I'm curious as to how legitimate this is, given that the individual books are published at a much higher price each. But this is a great price.

Thanks., Bought it

Won't let me buy, only add to wishlist
