Shopping round, thought this was a good price. £12 instore at my local Asda and Tesco, also currently £10 at Amazon. Enter AUTUMN at checkout for free P&P (or spend the usual £25) - credit to glitterz_2k7 for this. As for the book, Morton was a finalist in last year's Great British Bake Off and hopefully this will keep the other half happy for Christmas.

"With his lovable and eccentric personality, James Morton was surely the people's favourite to win the Great British Bake Off in 2012. Having made it to the final, he didn't quite clinch the title but gained himself a loyal following and in Brilliant Bread he provides a collection of easy-to-prepare recipes. Showcasing his passion for bread making, the book shows how you can make your own bread with supermarket flour and instant yeast. With step-by-step photographs throughout, the recipes range from basic loaves through to flatbreads, sourdoughs, sweet doughs, pretzels, doughnuts and much more!"

I s'pose this is what you get for winning a competition...a nice fairly lucrative book deal before quickly dropping back to obscurity!
