Jamie Oliver Pestle & Mortar £3.75 @ Sainsburys

Found 2nd Jan 2009
My local Sainsburys still had a fair few of these and one or two others from the mockney foodster range coming in with 75% off.

You'll need more than the one carrier bag tho mind as these boys are heavy.

Just what I always wanted.
So what happened to that shakey thing that the fat-tongued **** used to sell?
Think they all fell to bits. Nearly bought one 6 months or so ago then decided to wait for a good deal on the 'real' thing.

The shakers are actually excellent and work very well. Very robust. Mine is 3 years old and going strong and much easier than a pestle / mortar.
Not the sort of thing you buy everyday but I did actually need one over Christmas! Heat from me - thanks for the post.
:thumbsup:just what i always wanted,not!!
I can't live without pestle and mortar! (Serious)
Boot have this on at half price ... not sure how much but worth checking out!
Voted hot
wicked deal i wanted a half decent one that was harder, as my two are from turkey and hand made but from wood...not best for harder stuff.

I have the IKEA one and my friend has this. This is waaay bigger and heavier. Much better quality.
These should be free garbage lol
Had a look in both Swindon Sainsburys today, but couldn't see any............
Not tat, this actually has a good use, unlike a fondue set. Only i was hoping this would be made from Jamies Olivers skull and one of his bones!!

"..... made from Jamie Oliver's skull ....."

That would make it waaaaaay heavier. :giggle:
i use my pestle n motar all the time... cooking indian food all the time.
I saw this for £11 in TJhughes today - it's huge and looks smart - that is a belting price.
