Aldi is selling acer tree which seem very good value as they are between 75-90cm in height. Missed it last year so hopefully I be able to grab some this time round

I have 2 of these Japanese Acer Maples I got from Thompson Morgan a few years back, they look great around now, but around autumn/winter time they lose their leaves and your left with a woody bare plant.

trees tend to loose their leaves in Autumn

Thanks I want one

Well I never, oh hang on.....not all of them.

I have six different varieties of these in my garden all bought from Aldi two years ago. They are great and grown well. If they were for sell in my local plant nursery they would be between £30 and £50 each but the nursery is overpriced (although they must sell them). Thanks for posting.

I got one last year. It's a strong plant and looks good at this time of the year. cracking value.

got an acer palmatum for £3 from Morrisons which was about half this height

How many USB ports does this Acer have?

£8 in Morrisons for this height

I was expecting something made from the parts of laptops and tower computers.

Ive got one of these in my garden and would love to buy more. I am interested how you all display them please? X

We just have got them in pots and then have other coloured foliage plants around them.

Thankyou, i am clueless when it comes to gardening. But I know that I love these trees.

Superb!

We planted our Acer tree in the ground several years ago, it was tiny then and it's 2m high now and about 1,5m wide.

Not National.....Check local store...not in Cambs area!!! :-(

These are about half the size and so likely at least a year younger. Not a good deal in comparison.

Can antone put any pics up of their acer trees? I would really appreciate it. Ive got one in a pot and would love more just dont really know what to do with them.i have a long garden, do they look alright by a fence? X

I bought two today! They are really big and I am well pleased with them. Thank you so much x

WHAT I thought the deal don't start until tomorrow. I need to go after work. Hopefully they still some nice looking left.

I got an Aldi Skeeter's Broom last year, left it in original pot until early spring this year when I planted it.

Now flourishing, colourful and blooming. Recommended!

I'd only buy this if it was tree fiddy...

Had a look this morning, they are not as tall as 75 cm, for £15 you can get larger and better quality at Waitrose the moment.

Waitrose is a supermarket like any other, except its for people who like to buy the same things at a higher price (sometimes known as toffs).

You occasionally get normal people in there getting free coffees, but the toffs don't like this. It distracts them when they're using the in-store chiller on their over-priced Sauvignon Blanc.

£8 in Morrisons for this height

Thanks. Got one from Morrisons today. Only two varieties to choose from though.

Heat for this deal though. Just wish there was an ALDI local to me.

I opted for the Morrison's ones too. they were in nicer condition, the same size, and cheaper! four types to choose from at my local

Cheaper @ Morrisons! Down to £8 , same size as Aldi too
Something is going wrong with Aldi's pricing if 'normal' retailers are under now cutting them!?
Used to be other way round for years
Aldi getting too greedy maybe?

Perhaps or the normal retailers realise that they are over charging us and dropping their prices lower then Aldi/Lidl to compete for customers.

I will need to pop into my local Morrison (Peckham), hopefully they also have some to choose.
