It's a good price for these.

Hot from me

Hot from me, bought a pair for daughter. Thank you OP

Certain things on here, especially fashion related stuff will generally always go cold...... Unless they were made of pure gold and selling for 99! Heat but they are not worth the money IMHO.

£60 on GO Outdoors website. So given them a chance and gonna try them in a weekend in Norway. If they dont work there then they wont work anywhere

Sounds more like someone believed the product description and was expecting the product to live up to it, which it wont as its karrimor. The waterproofing will be useless within 6 months, not that it matters as the sole will have worn through in 3.

Looking for this long time, Ordered one, thanks

would not touch karrimor with a barge pole, used to be a good brand but not now

Sadly Karrimor isn't the quality brand it used to be. Now it's just a label used by Sports Direct.

Good boots - I paid £54.99 for mine in one of these outlet type stores. Very comfortable and stand up to a lot of abuse. I would buy again - and £60 isn't a bad deal. Next time I might upgrade to the chocorua GTX model which has breathable goretex membrane. The GTX have a gore tex badge on the side as opposed to Waterproof on the Chocorua.

Heat :)

£110 for my size :(

Mine wasn't a 'view', it was a (slightly exaggerated) fact. I respect your views but this isn't the place for them.

Just responding to your previous views , If you dont like it. Ignore it. :)

Thread for a pair of boots - not a pulpit for preaching your views (however laudable they may be).

India, Cambodia, Vietnam is where Primark clothes come from. I don't really know of clothes made in China but I actually shop at Sunspel and other London companies for my clothes. As my Avatar name suggests, I have an animal link. I choose to avoid China because of the way it exploits wildlife. Rhino, Tiger, Bear,Seahorse to mention just a few. Africa's Western Black Rhino was officially extinct In November 2013. China is the biggest cause of such travesties . During 2012, in South Africa alone a staggering 668 Rhinos were killed by poachers, that’s almost 2 a day. Worryingly the current figures for 2013 suggest that more than 1000 rhinos could be killed by the end of the year. This poaching is by no means isolated to South Africa, rhino poaching is surging across the entire African continent, and is a constant threat to the smaller rhino populations in Asia. Other rhino states do not regularly publish poaching statistics, however updates are available in news reports and press releases. For example, in early August 2013, Kenya reported that it had lost 34 rhinos to poaching since the start of the year. Here is a good link should anyone be interested.

Isn't everything made in China? I think you'll go naked if you won't wear clothing made in China! ;)

Last 3 years they are rubbish

Here are originals for £34.99 delivered with code FD12. The furry neoprene wellies here are seriously good value for neo wellies, fur can easily be removed and a price of £24.99 for the shorties is bargainous. THe neos seem to be fairly problem free.{mandmgbp}/brand%3E{hunter}&fh_sort_by=+mandmgbp_sellingprice

Yes they were excellent quality a few years back Mathew, My wifes had a few pairs but now there cheap rubbish.

i think you got them before they went cheap!

Hot.Hi-Tec boots are not waterproof for more than a month when hiking but i want a pair to do gardening in.For £18 you cant go wrong. Thanks for posting.

I bought a pair of the brown ones last year for £22. most comfortable boots I've ever worn, only used them in cold snowy conditions so can't comment on whether they're waterproof or not. I'm unlikely to be using them for anything more serious than a dog walk so I'm very pleased with them.

Tell your daughter to change thinking from 'I want' to 'I need'. Thanks me later when she will be older :)

Sorry, am I missing something here? Are we seriously talking about a pair of wellies for over £50? Why not glue £20 to the sole of each shoe...?

Cheap crap made in china,£10 boots £40 badge.

Probably because Hunter's are no longer the reliable, last for decades, Scottish made boots they once were. They're now made in China, have a crumbling reputation and are in the process of becoming the next chav must-have.

My local Blacks were selling these last Spring for under a tenner a pair dependent upon size. I need a new pair of wellies but I will buy these in the sales in the Spring/Summer. Not worth £20 IMPO let alone £50.

tkmaxx have these and black ones for 49.99 in store- also had high heal wedge ones- dont understand them though!!!!wedges in mud= broken neck

Yep... Terrible quality control since 2010...

New Balance Men's Mo1000by Hiking Shoe for £35.08 + 20% OFF code: VOGUEJAV = £28.06. Free delivery- Free returns. Cheapest elsewhere £58.

received my pair this morning and sizing wise they are a perfect fit i ordered a size and a half bigger (to accomodate thicker socks and the fact that everyone advised to get 1 size bigger) look and feel much more expensive then just under £30 delivered. Even at full price i think you would feel chuffed. Thanks again OP

Just wearing mine now and have the same problem with the left foot feeling narrower, I usually wear a size 9, but ordered a 10 to be safe and I'm glad I did as they are a good fit. Hopefully the left boot will expand a bit with wear and tear as these look and feel like really good boots for the price.

My left shoe feels a little more narrow than my right, as a result it's a tight fit when getting on and my little toe gets scrunched up. I'm going to wear them in the house for a few hours a night today and tomorrow and see if they loosen up, if not they'll be going back.

Ordered yesterday in the morning and arrived today in the morning!!! How could they be better than Amazon?? Not that I'm complaining :) Great shoe btw, but I think it might not be as tough as my current Rongbuk.

You can always try em out in the shops then purchase online at a cheaper price
