Jawbone are killing the app soon arent they

UP3 are poorly made. The rubber band on mine snapped after a few months of use!

Could you expand on this please. Obviously won't buy if no support. Thanks.

Jawbone arent out of business - they no longer make or support fitness wearables. The owners have refocussed on 'jawbone health' and will now work on medical sensors and equipment. The app still works and you would need to rely on the seller of the goods with a warranty issue.

The app still works and i cant find a single concrete indication on the net that the app is being switched off. I'm still syncing my jawbone account to other accounts (mywellness and chronometer) without issues.

That said i wouldnt pay more than the 5 quid or less the up move is going for nowadays. I dont see what this device offers that that one doesnt. Also worth looking at the gearbest blackfriday offers for the mi fit band which is something silly like 7 quid on friday.

Thank you all for the info, have had 2 UP 3's which have been flawless. Guess its time for a change but do not want a watch type tracker.

My wife had the original UP and had problems with the wrist band peeling. I’ve seen comments of the UP2 wrist band snapping - I get the feeling they’re not that well made. Also they’re not making wearables anymore and this is just some old stock. Personally I’d steer clear but the price is tempting.

Had a couple of Jawbones and liked them, however my last one broke after 6 months. I found that they’d moved their customer service from the UK and I couldn’t get any response despite months of chasing.
