its 53,99£ lol

Just put in basket, op should have stated this more clearly, no need to laugh at them though.

Yeah - a discount is being applied half way down reducing to £37.79.

Good find - I know us usually gets mixed reviews on HUKD but been using an up24, up2 and more recently up3 for the last couple of years and they are great devices with a good iOS app imho. The battery life is a bit poor on the up3 as I'm only getting roughly 4 days on a full charge whereas the Up24 lasted up to a couple of weeks. It does charge quickly though.

it tracks 24/7 but how well? is it once per few minutes or...?
slow tracking is ok for passive or steady activity but nice to track a bit closer for sports etc
can the 'chart' be exported?

nice find, can not seem to find info on size

Avoid Jawbone products.

It is slightly ambiguous though - title says UP24, description say UP3. But easy enough to return it if you don't get a UP3.

Care to be helpful and elaborate?

Do you mind saying which of the apps you chose for when mine turns up

When this first came out there were quite a few of the intended features unavailable...anyone have any info as my Up24 has seen better days.

full of bad reviews because of strap

Frustrating isn't it, when someone gives a strong opinion but nothing to back it up. It can see that there are a lot of indifferent reviews of these, but they were a £129 product, so people will any judge failings harshly as that is expensive.

Excellent product, but beware as Jawbone is in financial distress - their customer service seems to have closed uk.trustpilot.com/rev…com

only 30 at cex

Love my jawbone.....but rest of family go the xiamo mi band 2 and it's much better...only £18 from gearbest.....so have ordered one for me now!!!

I have up move with which I am very satisfied, can't complain really. It tracks my workouts quite well. It is easy to clip on and holds well. I once ordered up3 but to be very honest hated how it presented and sent back.

These were £39.99 ages ago at Currys. The Mi band 2 is ok, though one of mine wont pair now, or show HR.

And the UP2 are only £27.99 at moment.

As above, Jawbone are currently a dead company, so you're potentially buying something with zero warranty and no software updates/promises the online service and apps will continue existing.

worst thing I ever brought in my life... the band just falls off and you won't get the clip they promise to send, I've been waiting 6 months

Just want to repeat the same as the above poster.
Jawbone have closed their UK/EU customer service.
Their phone lines have been disconnected.
You don't even get an auto-response to customer services emails since about October

avoid this ****

I have an up3 and love it. (also have a fitbit charge hr2) but prefer the jawbone. I pressed each clasp arm in a little and it stops it falling off (main issue I believe)

I had 4 different jawbone products, I've had a Microsoft band 2 and now a fitbit so I have a lot of experience with trackers and jawbone.
Just a few words of warning: Jawbone had to replace each of my bands multiple times until the 12 month warranties ran out on them, by which time they will wash their hands of you. My experience with the UP3 was my last with Jawbone. They seem designed to break and I read a while ago that they have actually stopped manufacturing fitness trackers (I read that on a tech blog somewhere a while back, this could be inaccurate but worth looking into) and if, as the above poster says, customer services is closed then don't touch them.
The only reason I kept trying was that they would only ever offer me Jawbone credit for my returned bands after replacements developed faults. The UP3 in particular gave me a nasty contact rash on whichever wrist I was wearing it on (yes I kept it clean as per instructions) and started to stretch and crack on the band by the metal contacts.
I also found their calorie burn waaaay off. I do a weekly dance class, my trackers before jawbone and the two after all record my average burn at 500-600 for an intense class, the UP3 was telling me 900 and would never record my heart rate when I was actually exercising which is when I actually needed it, it consistently lost track of it and would either not record anything or wildly over estimate. That was with both my first and my replacement UP3.
Because I seem to only have given negative info I will add some positives: they look very smart and the sleep tracking I found to be very accurate, and the silent alarm was a great feature.

One tip I've picked up is that If you're unsure of any bit of tech, don't just read reviews, go on their forums and see how many people post about the same re-occurring issues and see how the support handle it. I did that with my fitbit and it was a lot more informative than tech site reviews.

it's now resigned to being the Blackberry Playbook / HP Touchpad of the fitness trackers.

bought my g/f one but broke thankfully (and truthfully!!) just as I found out about the collapse so was able to return.

(even better is it looks like i've don't have to buy a replacement!!!)

Don't waste your money! Went through 3 UP2 in 8 months and now the company has closed its UK/EU customer support so when it does break - trust me it will - you won't be able to get a replacment!

out of stock

I've just attempted to cancel the order, because of the above reasons, but it's saying it's too late, even though it's not been despatched yet. When you buy something from Argos ebay, can you return it to a local store or do you have to return by post?

How would this compare to the Mi Fit 2? With the latest update and treadmill mode on the mi fit im quite enjoying it.

Out of stock now

Please AVOID these like the plague!!!

Technically they work superbly, had mine for 11 months and the step tracking and sleep tracking is very accurate - steps especially when compared with Strava GPS and Apple Health are always accurate.

The app is excellent.

However, the strap is jut not fit for purpose. Firstly the clasp comes undone and it falls off, then after about 6 months my strap snapped. I superglued and selotaped it, which made it look naff but did the job. Now it has snapped in two more places and the rubber is literally falling apart all over.

I've now resorted to removing all the strap with a knife and just keep it in my pocket, but it's not accurate doing that - a 7.5 mile walk yesterday was shown as 3.8 miles!!

No customer support and I think Jawbone are on the verge of going into admin.

I'm going to get a FitBit now.

Original Poster

I obviously didn't know about all of this when I posted the deal, even regretting getting it myself now!

As above, I really like the tracker - it looks much classier than the Fitbit Charge models, it it seemed pretty good. I haven't had any problems with the band, but the battery has just died so instead of getting >4 days from a charge I now get under 24 h. Add in the closure/non-response from the UK/EU customer service and the stories that Jawbone no longer even list these trackers for sale on their own site and you should avoid unless you're happy sinking the money for a product that will last about a year.
