Any experience with this? I like the idea of the functionality but wondering if it’s a massive upgrade over the the jbl bar 2.1?

How can you have 4k UHD on a soundbar?

some ppl will believe anything, there is no such thing as 4k UHD sound on a sound bar, this is not a TV

there are a lot of people who believe dyson make great vacuums and apple make great phones just because it is over-priced, it is a captive market for marketeers just because it is over-priced... same has been happening in the car market

Too true I had an ultra HD car wash at the local IMO car wash the other day. Didn’t get given a tv with the car wash though.

It allows for 4K UHD pass through for the ARC connections, so a 4K picture input would be transferred at 4K to your TV

I have a standard HD ARC soundbar so if I put 4K signal in it would only output 1080p.

It means it supports a 4K UHD video signal when you connect a 4K UHD device to it and it's connected to a 4K TV via ARC. It can then pass the 4K UHD signal to the TV, whereas other sound bars will limit it to 1080p (or less). It's got nothing to do with sound, or vacuum cleaners.
if this does indeed do 4K (HDMI 2.1 or whatever) passthrough at 60hz then this is a very good price.

ARC= audio return channel , it is audio passthrough not video
Also, ARC will only do SD sound so no DTS-HD/Atmos
