Allegedly £70 off, which I find unlikely.
However it is still the cheapest UK price by at least twenty pounds.

All in one soundbar with built in sub.
Includes HDMI ARC connectivity (rare in sub £150 speakers) as well as the usual digital optical and Bluetooth inputs

I would suggest this is only good for those wanting something better than the measly sound that most modern tv's offer.
Ideally used on a secondary TV in a room where space is tight.

You able to use your TV remote to control the sound volume?

If you connect it via hdmi as well, you will be able to.

Optical for sound, HDMI for turning off/on and volume.

Is JBL "badge engineered" these days or could this actually be decent?
30w?!? Don't bother, I just got my sister a 90w Panasonic soundbar with two built in subwoofers which sounds identical to my big Bose speakers.

I don't think it's quite as simple as that.
I have an 80w soundstage which feels as loud as a 300w 5.1 located elsewhere in the house.
If I concentrated on wattage when buying audio equipment, I’d have missed out on some fantastic gear. Peak energy usage is of little importance in most cases.
JBL decent brand decent price.

They're actually owned by Harman group now who are owned by Samsung.
Its a relative small an lightweight sound bar, don't expect to much from it! I personally think there is many better options especially for that price tag!

Could you link a few that are compact like this one and include a built-in subwoofer?
Thanks.

No HDMI ARC on those.

Horses for courses to be honest.
This is a small all-in-one soundbar with a host of connectivity options ideal for a smaller TV or smaller room.

Basically you are paying for connection then, as quallity will be miles away from others. Each to their own.

I suspect the Samsung is the better soundbar in terms of sound quality.
However, I am taking the approach of size and compatibility/convenience.

The Sony HT-SF200 soundbar I posted up last night is probably the best overall in terms of all of the above, including sound quality and a reasonable price.

Just picked up one of these soundbars in Hmv, paid £100 instore today, allegedly saved £100 making it half price. Best price available if you don't want to wait for delivery from other online etailers.

Very happy with the quality, sound is loud enough for me on half volume even though it has no external sub, have to consider the neighbours, replaces a yamaha receiver and speaker set I've had for a number of years.

Main reason for purchase was to de-clutter the house as my wife is 30 weeks pregnant with baby girl.

It's good value for £100 but wouldn't want to much more for it.
