How does it stack up against the older JBL Xtreme? Or a couple of UE Booms/Megabooms?

I have the Xtreme at the moment and really tempted to upgrade but can't justify it really as the Xtreme is more than enough for my needs.
Yeah bring down the price now Jbl have changed the Bluetooth party link. Gotta say this is a F-ing good speaker. But don't expect to link this up to any of Jbl's new speakers. Jbl really need to sort out backwards compatibility.

I have two megabooms and this is way better, the bass is unbelievable for a portable Bluetooth speaker.

What about a JBL Xtreme? I guess I never have the need to crank it up that much - the UE devices have very clear sound and less boomy bass. I do still have one of those Harman/Kardon Play+Go things with a 30-pin connector on top and aux-in, that still sounds great and must be knocking on for 10 years old now.
