”Spin something bass-heavy, such as Grace Jones’ smooth take on The Pretenders’ Private Life and the Charge 2+ delivers a big, far-reaching sound.

This rich sonic character soon sends you searching for more low-frequency fun, and it wasn’t long before we were kicking back to Harry J Allstars’ Liquidator." What Hi-Fi? magazine’. 5-star review.

Isn't the charge 2+ old now? Got mine on Prime day for about £70 a couple of years ago!

Great speaker though! Still going strong and in constant use

Thanks for your comment. I believe Charge 3 gets mixed reviews compared to Charge 2+ (e.g. This is a case of two steps forward, one step back. The Charge 3 has an attractive new appearance, better water resistance and more battery life. But the changes have turned a speaker with excellent sound into one that's just good.) I find Bluetooth speakers highly subjective - personally (and if sound quality is the only issue) I would advise paying a bit extra and get the Audio Pro T3. But not everyone will like the T3's quirky looks...

Thanks again.

Same here, much better than I thought it would be when ordering. Would recommend, but surprised it hasn't been bettered with newer models by now.
Great sounding speaker but beware the battery could go bad just after the 2 year warranty runs out like mine did. Other people on Amazon have had same issues. The battery isn't easy to swap and the third party replacement is about £25.00 which probably will be inferior to the original. JBL don't care when you contact them also. I'm going to try the Anker Soundcore 2 instead.

Don't know who's been voting this hot but the newer model is just £19.99 more.
