£59.89 actually, so cheaper...
Won’t the charge 3 for this price Heat Added
I have extra 10% but still not the best price
Could go well with my charge 3. These JBL speakers are very good in my experience
Been using it for 2 years camo skin version of Flip 3. Battery life could be better its around 8-10 hours on medium volume. But it charges relatively fast. Bought Flip 4 but unless it was faulty it didn't sound as good as my camo flip 3.

Recommend.
Using the flip 2 for more than 2 years and would buy any of the newer ones in a heartbeat. Only problem with my flip 2 is the battery life after all this time but I use a little power bank is all good, sound is really amazing for the size

You are most welcome
How is this compared to the Anker Soundcore 2 ?
I use one as my main stereo in the house, really powerful for the size. Dropped down full flight of stairs whilst listening to “hit me baby one more time”, was fine. Recommended. Prefer to my Bose soundlink mini 2, easier to connect Bluetooth. Better form factor and not OTT bass the the Bose.
Brilliant base for such a small unit.

Where is the better price?
lovely speaker.
Just be aware that the JBL Flip 3 Stealth doesn't have some of the features of the original JBL Flip 3. The IPX rating has increased but it has lost the microphone so cannot be used as a speakerphone for making or receiving calls or voice integration with Siri or Google. They also removed JBL Connect functionality so it cannot be connected wirelessly to another JBL speaker for stereo playback either.
Bought for kid 2 years ago with same saving. Still going strong. By far the best clarity and bass that I tested at £100 price point.

Does this mean that a pair won't be stereo over bluetooth?
Most annoying!

FWIW, these are great but the batteries barely survive a year of warranty, and replacement, if you can find one, is around £25. That’s my experience with two of them, separately sourced etc.

Yep and yes, it is annoying.

Even (some Bose) are not
Just to clarify, the Stealth is still a stereo portable speaker with left and right channels so don't worry about that. It is just that you cannot connect two Stealth speakers wirelessly and get the left channel through one speaker and the right channel through the other speaker like you could with a pair of the original Flip 3 speakers.
Mmmmmmmm anker and other now do a 24hr battery.... Much needed on these I think.... Had the earlier jbl, good sound no doubt.... Want do expensive @ £30,but battery only a few hrs no good if your out n about....

I know, tell me about it. I’ve tried so many times to knock mine over but it just won’t fall over

Why do they last less than a year? I have a JBL Xtreme and the battery failed around about a year of ownership. Not sure if it was because of an update for the speaker or the battery itself.

However, I also have the UE Megaboom and it’s still going strong after 3 years of ownership- probably still holding about 80% of the original capacity - so if UE can do it for their batteries then why can’t JBL?
Got one of these.. sounds decent for size. Better than the UE wonderboom imo which I was going to get until sound tested.

As mine's slowly getting worse, I've wondered about replacing the internal batteries with a couple of 18650s - should last for *ages*.
I've had two of these for a few years - brilliant speakers.

Good little speaker & amazing for the price. The smaller Bose Revolve has far more clarity, but at half the price, this takes some beating!
I have it brilliant speaker

Agreed, it’s odd and it’s not like it has been random for me. The Flip2 sounded good but the batteries withered noticeably within a year so I moved to the Flip3, one from JBL themselves and one from Amazon I think a few weeks apart. The batteries were better until just after a year when they really fell off a cliff and within weeks would only function connected to AC. I eventually found a replacement cell from Amazon DE but hardly use them any more as I expect them to fail.
my mate has this, it sounds brilliant, good find OP
