Good price on the Link 20. It's not the lowest we've ever seen, although it's still a decent buy. As per title this has Google assistant, so if you're using maybe a nest mini or similar, this could be be a nice step up in sound.

SMART SOUND MULTI-ROOM PLAYBACK
The revolutionary JBL Link 20 Portable Wireless Smart Sound Speaker lets you enjoy your favourite music wirelessly wherever you are in your home. It has Google Assistant built-in so you can simply ask it to play songs, albums, playlists, or radio stations without picking up your smartphone or tablet when connected to your home WiFi.

Using voice commands you can pause or stop playback, skip tracks, adjust volume, or ask what's playing.

You can enjoy crystal clear sound exactly as the artist intended. Set up and control multi-room playback over WiFi with the Google Home app with a simple step by step guide. You can connect to a Chromecast device or any speakers that have Chromecast built-in so that you can create immersive home audio.

HANDS-FREE VOICE CONTROL
Google Assistant can do much more than just find your favourite songs thanks to far-field voice recognition. You can ask conversational questions, such as "what's the weather going to be like today?" or "who's the president of America?". Just start your question or command with "Ok Google" or "Hey Google".

Assistant can help with everyday tasks, such as checking your commute, set an alarm or timer, or add items to your shopping list. It can also be used with compatible smart home devices such as lighting or smart plugs, or ask it to stream a TV show or movie to your Chromecast (sold separately).

WATERPROOF PORTABLE DESIGN
If you want to continue listening to your favourite music while away from home, the portable design of the speaker allows you to take it with you anywhere you go. Using Bluetooth technology it can connect to your smartphone or tablet to stream your playlists.

A built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion battery offers up to ten hours of playback time, and when it's time to recharge you can use the included USB cable to quickly restore power to the speaker.

For added peace of mind, the speaker is waterproof with an IPX 7 rating, so you don't need to worry about rains and spills whilst listening to your music – perfect for pool parties or the beach.

PLEASE NOTE
  • Google Home is optimised for selected music and audio services only. Subscriptions/payments may be required.
  • Controlling your TV requires a Chromecast or a TV with Chromecast built-in.
  • Remember that even if you're using Multi-user and Google Home should recognise your voice, a voice similar to yours or a recording of your voice might cause it to incorrectly identify someone else as you.

I bought the Link 10 for £99 and I thought that was a bargain 2 years ago for the piece of kit I have. This is an absolute steal.
No free calls with this old and crippled firmware.

My link 20 does, well it did a few days ago.
I don’t suppose there’s a charging stand available for this?
How do these compare to the Flip 5 in terms of sound quality and features, been thinking about getting a Flip 5 or Charge 4. TIA

I paid £129 for one of these in August 2018 - excellent bathroom speaker, tempted to get another at this price.

Sound is better than my Flip 4 - and it does audio ChromeCast as well. That's that's the killer feature for me as I have audio Chromecasts all round the house.
Nice bit of kit, plenty of volume and base and a great price.

I don't think so - charges via microUSB, so you could leave it plugged in but it wouldn't be water resistant, there's a rubber bung you have to remove to charge.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping that there would be a charging base like the UE Blast or the Sonos Move so I could leave it on charge outside the bathroom and jus pick it up and take in the bathroom as needed without messing with wires.
I also paid more than this for the 10, and it's a great little device. I use it when traveling and in the garden... It's good for parties in order to play music from all of your speakers at once and gave one in the garden

Yes I recieved the first one on Tuesday. The sound quality is excellent, from what I have heard it's sound quality is close to the sonos one but not quite as good but for half the price of the sonos one it's a great deal. It has stereo speakers built in and the audio is really crisp and has great range of lows mid and highs. I'm really impressed with the link 20 and can't wait for my next one to arrive as I believe they can be paired and act as a left and right channel stereo group. One link 20 on it's own sounds really nice so the pair of them should be good.
